For some reason, picking out the perfect Christmas tree puts people on pins and needles. Let’s get something straight, the only needles you should be on are the ones that fall from your tree.

That’s enough kidding around becuase finding the perfect tree can make or break your Christmas. So unless you want to have a terrible Christmas and have your family hate you, you better listen to stand-up comic and unaccredited Christmas tree enthusiast Joe Pera. He might not be a professional, but he knows a thing or two and loves to help. He also has an Adult Swim special on the subject

Pera recently appeared on a Detroit local news show to help the morning crew pick out the perfect tree. He tells them about his trip to Anderson’s tree farm in Newbury, Michigan, where the farm’s proprietor Merle and his wife Caroline taught him a whole lot. The segment, with the stuttering and dead air, is as soothing as they are unsettling.

The whole thing is delightfully awkward in the best way possible, and when this anchor tells him that she uses a plastic tree, well, things get tense.

He made the rounds that morning, delivering Christmas tree to a few other shows to similar results.

Nothing worthwhile to see here folks...except a billionaire and soon-to-be President of the United States with a scotch taped tie. Yep. That's all.

Remember PigGate? Twitter sure does. British Prime Minister David Cameron tried to tweet an innocuous photo of himself watching a space launch, but The Internet turned that into an opportunity to remind him of the time he porked a pig:

Few things are as weird as stock photos.

Taken by the thousands and used across every corner of the web, they are odd and clumsy things that make real life look hilarious and extremely dramatic.

Well, Mashable just one-upped the present and collected this series of them from the 1970s.

Step aside Cara Delevingne and take your bad interview with you. We've not a new contender for atrocious press junket of the summer.

Atlanta's Rock 100.5 Morning Show radio host Steven J. Rickman and interviewer Jason Bailey either aren't really into interviewing or are way too into making their guests uncomfortable. In this video, they spend most of the time asking some cringe-worthy questions of Kate Mara, who will play Sue Storm in the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot, and Michael B. Jordan, who will play Johnny Storm.

The two shock jocks launch into questions about race — always a good ice breaker for summer blockbuster actors. They could not understand how Mara and Jordan were to play siblings since one is black and the other is white.

Then, they laid into Mara about why she cut her hair short, because she it was so attractive before. This is a class move, which women appreciate. That was sarcasm.

Luckily, Rickman found a way to smooth the whole thing over by saying he's a "toe-man" and that Mara has great feet.

Enjoy your morning trainwreck!

And if you're curious, we've got the Fantastic Four trailer for you over at Geek Universe.

Well, that didn't go as planned.

Doing countless interviews for a press junket must be interminable, and it can only get worse when a early morning show anchors harangue you about your lack of energy.

22-year-old supermodel, turned actress, Cara Delevingne had such an interview last week with the crew from Good Day, Sacramento. She came on the show to promote her first movie, and the newest John Green adaptation, Paper Towns.

While it begins with some light sarcastic remarks, things swiftly take a turn towards a train wreck. After three questions, one of the anchors straight up asks her why she isn't more excited.

The anchors waste no time after Delevingne signs off to publicly throw some serious shade over the Suicide Squad actress.

She already responded to the awkwardness on Twitter.

Luckily, Zach Braff had her back.

A dramatic rescue in Sachse, Texas quickly took a turn for the funny on Friday, when a local cop was brought on a lengthy joyride over a farm.

In the video above from FOX 4 news, the unnamed officer is airlifted by a Department of Public Safety helicopter after his car gets stuck in the rising flood waters.

The news anchors covering the event watch as he attaches himself to the harness and soars off to safety.

But once they’ve reached dry land, they don’t let him down very quickly. Instead he is taken on a 4-minute long flight across some cow-filled pastures while the world watches and the anchors laugh.

“Where are they taking him?” asks one of them, to which the other replies “It’s kind of an odd sight, isn’t it?”

They joke that maybe the extended trip was punishment for ruining a perfectly good police car.

He was eventually lowered to the ground, and will likely rise up to viral video stardom.

“He’s happy to be out and safe,” another cop named Lt. Marty Cassidy told WFAA news. “He knows he’s not going to live this down.”
