Everyone knows at Burger King, they serve burgers “your way,” but this Halloween, they’re serving them roasted, leaving the competition burnt to a crisp.

A Burger King in Queens, NY got really into the Halloween spirit this year, throwing a white tarp over the building and dressing it up as the ghost of McDonald’s. Rest assured, the location cleared things up on their marquee, which read, “BOOOOO! Just kidding, we still flame grill our burgers. Happy Halloween.” They even scrawled "McDonald's" on their food containters. Needless to say, it was a real fright to an already brave customer-base looking to get their Whopperito on.

For a company that sells cheeto-dusted chicken fingers and has this creep as their mascot, Burger King really has the weird fast-food marketing department on lock.

Actually, creepy mascots are kind of both of their M.O. I direct your attention to Exhibit A, a gif of a couple of Grimace Grandmas rubbing Ronald McDonald's head. Yikes.

The only question left: how will a combination Taco Bell/KFC respond?

Apple's new Macbook doesn't just give feels, it requires them.

Announcing a new line of Macbooks today, Apple introduced the world to the Touch Bar, a digital interface that lives at the top of the keyboard, replacing the function keys. The Touch Bar gives users a whole new range of control on things like video editing, audio recording, and sending emojis.

As is their wont, the company made it clear that these are the thinnest and lightest Macbooks to date.

Despite announcing new AppleTV software and accessibility features, this event was about two things for people: Touch Bar and Price. With two new Macbooks coming in at $1,799 for a 13" model and $2,399 for a 15" model, many were pretty surprised and somewhat baffled by the price increase.

Have you been up at 3am tweet-shaming President Obama recently? Well, watch out, he sees you.

Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, President Barack Obama took out an iPhone and participated in Kimmel's much-beloved Mean Tweets segment, fielding insult after insult on everything, from some bad shampoo to his choice of jeans. You think dealing with Putin's tough? Try sleeping after being called both the Nickelback of Presidents and the Sharknado of Presidents. Cold blooded.

The final insult of the night came from, you guessed it, Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump. Under the guise of his @realDonaldTrump handle, Trump lobbed 140 characters of fury at the commander-in-chief.

To which Obama replied, "At least I will go down as a President."

Want to heal your bones faster? Well, thanks to researchers at Northwestern University, pretty soon you'll be able to 3D print a flexible "scaffolding" to encourage bone growth on and around them.

Okay, taking a breath.

Here we go:

The scaffold is "made up of hydroxyapatite, a naturally occurring mineral that exists in our bones and teeth, and a biocompatible polymer called polycaprolactone, and a solvent. Hydroxyapatite provides strength and offers chemical cues to stem cells to create bone. The polycaprolactone polymer adds flexibility, and the solvent sticks the 3D-printed layers together as it evaporates during printing. The mixture is blended into an ink that is dispensed by the printer, layer by layer, into exact shapes matching the bone that needs to be replaced."

The idea, they continue, is that "a patient would come in with a nasty broken bone—say, a shattered jaw—and instead of going through painful autograft surgeries or waiting for a custom scaffold to be manufactured, he or she could be x-rayed and a 3D-printed hyperelastic bone scaffold could be printed that same day."

Currently the technology is being used to fuse spinal vertebrae in rats, and is performing well. Since you can't use this tech YET, maybe you can 3D print yourself a cast in the meantime:

Great Big Story uncovered why you only get green-dyed horseradish at your local sushi place.

Apparently, real Wasabi takes 1.5 years to grow, is very difficult to keep happy as a plant, and costs $80 a POUND when cultivated. So dying horseradish green is easier and cheaper for most places to pass on to their customers.

Real Wasabi is pretty neat stuff...

...and can help you win at trivia:

...So at $80 a pound, I think I can forgive my local restaurant for their horseradish "problem," don't you think?

Tired of just watching your favorite movies?

Well now you can wear them too, with Vans new "Toy Story" line and Nike's "Back to the Future" self-lacing do-hickies.

Van's "Toy Story" Shoes

Vans is keeping tight-lipped about this line despite some leaked pics, so we'll have to wait a bit longer until their release date of Nov. 29th to see the rest of them, but they definitely look cute.

Nike's Self-Lacing Shoes

Right now you could win a pair of Nike Self-Lacing shoes in an online lottery that's live today. According to CNN, you can purchase lottery tix online or through the Nike+ App if you live in the U.S. or Canada, "but a pair of the shoes will be auctioned in Hong Kong (Oct. 11), London (Oct. 14 & Oct. 17) and New York City (Nov. 12)."

The lottery ends on Oct. 11 and the lucky winners will be contacted on Oct. 17.

The shoes feature an "Adaptive Fit," which "senses the wearer and tightens or loosens accordingly."

Here's Michael J. Fox wearing them back in 2015:

Leave it to another Australian to get himself snacked on.

Somehow a teenage boy got bitten by a crocodile and the whole attack was inadvertently caught on camera:

No word on whether his friends with the camera had soaked his swimsuit in cold cuts prior to their dip, but who the heck films underwater and swims with crocodiles?
