Ever wonder how your Grandpa would compare with an Olympian at their own sport?

Well, some scientists did, and they set up an experiment with seniors doing the same activities as Olympians and then measured the difference between the Olympian's record and the centenarian's. Specifically, Usain Bolt, who ran the 100-metre in 9.58 seconds...

...with, say, Donald Pellman, a competitor in the 100 to 104 age-group, who did the same event in 26.99 seconds, which was only a 64.5 percent decrease in performance compared with Bolt.

The centenarian athlete who showed the lowest percent decrease in performance between an Olympian and himself was Robert Marchand, a Frenchman, who holds the world record for his age group in 1-hour track cycling. He cycled only 50.6 percent slower than Bradly Wiggin's record.

After 40, our performance decreases by about 10 to 15 per cent per decade usually, so you'd better start running now if you want to catch these Grandpas.

Arnold decided to take a bike ride around the city while visiting Edinburgh in Scotland. He seems like he's having a great time, there's only one problem. He's riding the wrong way on the road, leading everyone with him into oncoming traffic.

What? Were you expecting Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Terminator, to wear a helmet and follow traffic regulations?

At least it looks like he had a good time, even if he did stop in the middle of traffic to take this picture:

Prepare yourself for some serious secondhand rage.

This video shows a group known as Critical Mass, an international cyclist advocacy group, driving into oncoming traffic on the wrong side of the road in San Francisco.

One cyclist slowing inches his way toward a Zipcar and practically throws himself on the bumper.

"You f*cking hit my bike!" he shouts, as other cyclists surround the car and yell at the driver. The driver, obviously threatened, pulls away and tries to escape before a cyclist hits the car multiple times with a U-lock.

The group's website encourages cyclists to "remember that pleasure and friendliness are more subversive than anger and blaming."

Well, somehow this gang didn't get the message.

Riding a bicycle on a busy street can be terrifying even without some lunatic pushing you off your bike into traffic.

London Metropolitan Police released this harrowing video Aug. 25, in the search for the insane monster who chased a cyclist down after she totally politely asked him to watch out for her while he crossed the road.

The silvery-est lining of this dark, fuming cloud is that she wore he head camera to capture the whole thing so the dude can hopefully be caught.

In the meantime, watch out for those cyclists on the road. They are helping the environment, alleviating traffic and trying to improve themselves.

And on a broader note, let us never forget this sage advice from Bill and Ted.

An idiot spectator thought it would be fun to jump into the 2015 Giro d’Italia bike race on Sunday, and he ended up causing a huge pile-up.

In the clip, the camera shows a man riding from the sidewalk into the street, but then it pans away right as the collision takes place. What we see is the aftermath, which was later confirmed as his fault by riders who were affected by the debacle.

“If I get hold of the d*ckhead that had the brilliant idea of diving into the peloton on a fixed bike with 10km to go, causing us to crash…” tweeted Eugenio Alafaci from Trek Factory Racing.

He also complained about the collision on his Facebook page.

At least one rider quit following the crash, and others suffered minor injuries, according to Nine MSN.

We’ve seen a number of other bizarre crashes over the past few months in European races.

At Belgium’s Tour of Flanders, two competitors were knocked down by support cars, and a spectator appeared to stick his arm out knocking down a racer at the Molecaten Drentse 8 in the Netherlands.
