In an event for Autism Speaks a very 'Caring Santa' spent time bonding with kids who have autism.  Events with a lot of people like the typical mall Santa meet and greet can be especially hard for children with autism. In this event, kids make appointments to avoid waiting in crowded lines. The Santa at this event makes sure to spend as much time is needed to interact with the kids.

This particular Santa in Charlotte, N.C. went the extra mile by laying on the ground just to connect with a nervous little boy. You can see more photos and the full story in the video below:

If you love the scent of meaty, cheesey flavored chips you're in luck! Pringles has just launched a line of candles in three savory flavors.

Now you can smell pigs in blankets, cheesy cheese or Texas bar-b-que anywhere in your home, and you don't even have to spill a can of Pringles on yourself accidentally to do it.  For now the candles are just a trial.  They must need further experiments to get the scent to smell more like a snack fresh from the oven and less like the weird Uncle who always smells kind of like ham.

The loneliest boy in all of Britain lives on an island with a population of 70 people. His name is Aron and according to the Telegraph, he is the only school aged boy on the island so his closest friends are  "his dog, some ducks and flocks of sheep".

Aron used to have a few friends and brothers to play with but they all left the island to go to secondary school on another island two hours away. He's normally a pretty happy kid but his mother expressed some concern now that he's really the only kid left on the island.

This prompted a reddit user and moderator on r/Scotland to ask his fellow users to spread some holiday cheer in this post:

he response was overwhelmingly positive, but we'll probably have to wait until Christmas to see just how far the message spread when Aron recieves his cards at school.

Reese's has released its Christmas tree peanut butter cup, and people have a lot of feelings about them.

Mainly, they want to know what the heck they're looking at. Because these definitely don't resemble anything close to a Christmas tree.

Explain yourself, Reese's.

Or should you we say: Explain yourself, Grinch!

This is it. We've reached peak "War on Christmas," and it isn't even December.

GOP presidential contender and deflated kickball Donald Trump is suggesting that people boycott Starbucks because of the recent controversy over their new snowflake-less Christmas coffee cups.

You see, this year Starbucks opted for a plain red coffee cup instead of a design that featured snowflakes and Christmas trees.

Some Christians are mad about this, and have started telling baristas that their name is "Merry Christmas" to force the employee to say it out loud.

Sensing some way to inject his personal brand of horrible into the conversation, Trump called for a boycott of the company at a recent rally.

"Did you read about Starbucks? No more Merry Christmas on Starbucks. No more. I wouldn't buy. Hey, look! I'm speaking against myself. I have one of the most successful Starbucks in Tump Tower. Maybe we should boycott Starbucks—I don't know."

Merry Christmas and happy election cycle!

Starbucks has just entered the "War on Christmas" with one bold, unthinkable move—having a red Christmas cup?

That's right. Some Christians are upset because the Starbucks Christmas cup for this year is plain red instead of decorated with snowflakes or Christmas trees.

As a form of protest, people have started using the hashtag #MerryChristmasStarbucks to spread the message of outrage.

And some people are saying their name is "Merry Christmas" at Starbucks so the barista has to write it on their red cup.

Jeffrey Fields, Starbucks vice president of Design & Content, had this to say about the cups:

"In the past, we have told stories with our holiday cups designs. This year we wanted to usher in the holidays with a purity of design that welcomes all of our stories."

"Starbucks has become a place of sanctuary during the holidays," he said. "We're embracing the simplicity and the quietness of it. It's more open way to usher in the holiday."

It definitely sounds like Starbucks is out to destroy Christmas. eye roll
