In the opening ceremony of the 2016 US Synchronized Skating Championships, ice skaters Dean Copely and Tim McKernan dressed up as Chazz Michael Michaels and Jimmy MacElroy, two characters from the movie "Blades of Glory". They performed a version of the film's 'Fire and Ice' routine.

You can watch the routine from a better angle in this video from the network taping the routine:

Chris Barnicle finished dead last out of 105 people hoping to qualify for the U.S. Men's Olympic Marathon team. His finishing time was 3:45:34, that's pretty fast for a casual runner but, according to FloTrack, it was also the slowest time for an Olympic qualifying marathon since 2000.

He used to be a professional runner but since slowing down after an injury, he has gotten into the edible marijuana business. Barnicle even calls himself the "World's Fastest Stoner". That name actually might be true, he did win a pot-themed marathon in San Francisco just last year.

He ended up having a hard time during the race, cramping up and falling down around mile 22.

While he won't comment on whether he had drugs in his system at the time, he most likely had these issues due to dehydration. Rumors circulated that he planned to have PBR waiting for him at water stations to refuel but the truth was that he didn't bring anything.

New footage of a 15-year-old Michael Phelps was uploaded today where the now-Olympic Gold medalist says his goal was to just compete in multiple events in Athens.

He went on to win 6 gold and 2 bronze medals during those summer Olympic games.

What a humble kid!

Phelps goes on to talk about other teenager stuff, like getting a driver's license and becoming the best swimmer in the world. Ya know, struggles we all have.

One thing we know for sure, Phelps started doing his signature lip-licking thing at a very early age.

And in 2015...
