According to AL.com, a girl named Darby tried to prank her friends by wearing the head of a Barney costume.

The joke didn't go quite as planned when the costume head slipped down below her shoulders leaving her both trapped, and forced to walk around with T-rex arms.

Eventually, when her family and friends couldn't help her, they piled in a mini-van and headed down to the fire department where this hilarious scene took place:

The Marion Country Sheriff's department in Oregon shared this story on their Facebook about how the delivery drivers at a local Domino's saved the life of a loyal customer:

On Sunday, May 8th an alert Domino’s delivery driver called the Sheriff’s Office after a regular customer failed to order a pizza from the Salem area company. Tracey Hamblen, an employee at Domino’s on Silverton Road NE, called the Sheriff’s Office after not speaking with the customer in 11 days. Mr. Hamblen had formed a relationship with the victim because of the regular orders and knew he suffered form severe health issues.

When the Sheriff’s Office arrived at the residence in the 4100 block of Penticton Circle NE, they could hear a man calling for help from inside the residence. Deputies forced entry and found Kirk Alexander, age 48, of Salem down and in need of immediate medical attention.

Thanks to the quick actions of Mr. Hamblen, Mr. Alexander is in stable condition at the Salem Hospital. The Sheriff’s Office would like to personally thank Mr. Hamblen for his quick actions and willingness to take time out of his day to care for others.

Reza Baluchi was attempting to run from Pompano Beach, FL to Bermuda in an inflatable bubble. Although the Coast Guard officially warned him not to make the attempt due to dangerous water conditions, he set off on his journey anyway. Since he was making the journey totally alone, the coast guard had to save him.

This isn't his first attempt, he was also rescued in 2014 during a similar trip:

Florida firefighters rescued this adorable baby bear and gave him a very fitting name: Smokey Junior.

Smokey's mom wasn't near by so she's now in the care of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.  They believe they might have found her mother and the two will be reunited soon!

This adorable stray puppy needed surgery before she was ready to be adopted. Lucky for her, a very kind surgical assistant was there to comfort her as she was waking up. The original post by BARCS Animal Shelter explains what happened in this sweet video:

Baby Meesha was coming off her anesthesia and was a little scared because her body felt so weird. BARCS Surgical Assistant Dennis Moses took her out into the quiet hallway to comfort her. One of our awesome volunteers just happened to be walking by to capture this sweet moment. Thank you to Dennis and all the staff who work long, tireless hours in the background of our shelter—saving lives and loving the animals. (Turn on the sound, it will melt your heart!)

They also included a follow up post showing Meesha happily snuggling with her new family.

Don't worry though, they're taking really good care of him.
