The world is out of control, and it often seems like nothing can stop it — let alone make sense of it.

And while we here at The Daily What try to fill your days with some entertaining and, occasionally, entertaining information, the world moves to fast for even us.

That’s why there’s this video of a washing machine with a brick in it bouncing a trampoline.

Watch it and be calm. You’ll feel much better.

Driving is the type of thing like chewing gum and walking, you can do two things at the same time. Whether it’s putting on some make up or reading a book, the perfect time to do something else is when you’re driving.

Just ask this guy, who decided he needed to live stream his race down the freeway, so followers could get a glimpse at him mugging for the camera and see his car go real fast. What’s weird is that while he was doing those things, he crashed his car. Really bad.

via Latest Funny Stuff

This driver, a 20-year-old from Providence, RI, is now in critical condition, and you can see the whole thing right up to the crash on YouTube because he was streaming his collision course.

It’s not like people driving and looking at their phone endangers other drivers. It’s not like driving is an incredibly dangerous activity that no one seems to respect at all.

Wait, what am I saying? Please stop playing at your phones when you’re driving.

Wow! Sometimes a police officer really goes above and beyond the call of duty, and this is no different.

The Sun Sentinal reports that officers in, you guessed it, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, continually slapped parking tickets on the windshield of an Isuzu Axium SUV before deciding to take a look inside. There, maybe six inches from where these officers were placing their tickets, was the car’s driver dead. But who could notice that when you’re writing such important tickets.

via Twitter

Amazing there officers were so committed to their work of handing out parking tickets that they didn’t even have time to look up and see someone dead in the car. Though it is unknown whether the body was there when the tickets first started, it was reported that the Isuzu’s windows were tinted, which might account for the late discovery. Though, that would excuse away how committed to writing tickets these officers were.

The Sun Sentinel reports that an email from the assistant clerk said the city dismissed the $160 in parking fees, "due to extenuating circumstances.”

Just so brave the way they wrote those tickets, didn’t look at the car, and then dismissed them.

Straws are more useful than you think, and this video proves it. Did you know that straws can used for much more than drinking, like for sealing a chip bag without a clip? Well, did you know that, Cliff? Or were you gonna just let this bag of Tostitos go stale?

Sorry. This dude, Cliff, has been living on my couch for weeks and is not helping out around the house. It’s hard to not think about it.

Ok. Moving on. This video from HouseholdHacker does a great job showing you all the great uses for drinking straws, like it can help make a single serving honey dispenser for tea or a soda tap for your bar. Not that I would know. Cliff drank all my La Croix and didn’t replace it, like he said he would, so we can’t try this out.

Again, sorry. He’s just really annoying. He doesn’t even pay rent, but we grew up together, so you know.

Anyway, straws. The video also shows a really fun trick for kids at parties. If you tie a bunch of straws together and dip them in dish detergent, you’ve got a makeshift bubble gun. You know what else dish detergent can be used for, Cliff? Doing dishes. That mac and cheese isn’t going to clean itself.

Ugh. This is getting in the way of work. Look, I don’t care if we used to read Encyclopedia Brown together, it’s time I get this guy out of my house. But first, I’m going to watch some more Straw Hacks, and you should too.

Check out the video.

Macklemore is a tricky beast. On the one hand, he’s a Grammy Award-winning artist, and on the other, he has that haircut.

In that spirit, the folks over at HQG Studios put together a really cool version of Macklemore’s breakthrough “Thrift Shop” video out of a bunch of gifs and typography. That means there are appearances by Back to the Future's Doc Brown, Sesame Street's Bert, some viral stars, and standup comedy legend Alan Shemper.

HQG Studios is a collective of 21 members from Reddit and Imgur. In the past they have updated Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” and got nearly half a million views on YouTube.

Check out the video and a list of credits here.

If you punch someone in the face at a charity event, does that mean you punched someone in the face for charity?

That’s probably not the question on the mind of country-music star Luke Bryan, who decked a fan at charity concert last night. Bryan was performing at the Charlie Daniels’ 80th Birthday Volunteer Jam, a benefit show for veterans, when he popped some rude dude with a bad 'tude in the front row.

via Your Reaction Gifs

Why did Bryan hit this guy for charity?

According to Taste of Country, the man was making “crude hand gestures,” which questioned Bryan’s honor and the honor of the vets. Without a white glove with which to challenge the heckler to a duel, the musician smacked the man in the face and continued his song. What a bro, er, pro. PRO!

A rep for the musician elaborated, "It was insulting not only to him, but more importantly to the men, women and families sitting around him who were there to support and celebrate Charlie Daniels and the efforts of raising money for the military veterans — some of whom were in the audience. The concert security personnel saw the man’s disruptive actions of the event and he was escorted out.”

Best to just let the musicians play and save your comments for the web, dude.

Have you heard of this musical Hamilton that’s lighting up Broadway? Have you heard of Broadway, the Great White Way?

Good.

Have you seen this thing? Heard the soundtrack? Boycotted it? Actively ignored it? Whatever it is, people love it, and at long last, there’s more Hamilton. Sort of.

At midnight last night, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Hamilton’s creator and star, dropped The Hamilton Mixtape, a new album of rappers and pop-stars reinterpreting the songs from Hamilton. And surprise, people are losing it.

Check out some of the best reactions to the mixtape while listening to it here.
