We would react like that as well.

12 co-workers at the Ontario-based vehicle evaluation business Black Books found out they were multi-millionaires in the most boring setting possible. They all chipped into a lottery pool, led by Dennis Cartier, and ended up winning $60 million, the largest jackpot in the lottery's history.

Cartier found out they had won, but didn't tell them right away. He waited to hold an impromptu meeting, going over some facts and figures before surprising the group with a 'report' that actually let them know they would receive $5 million each (before taxes).

CBC talked to some of the winners:

"Dennis deserves an Academy Award for this one," said co-worker Brad Rome. "He kept that incredible secret for days, then as calm as calm could be, he surprised us with the news."

Cartier said he didn't find out about the big win until he checked the numbers on Saturday afternoon while on his way to pick up lunch.

He checked his ticket at a gas station and couldn't believe his eyes. He then raced home, signed the ticket and put it on the refrigerator.

"I wanted to stay calm, eat my burrito and check the numbers again online. Every single number matched up, so I went back to where I bought the ticket and that's when it all became very real."

Cartier, who was not supposed to work Monday, arrived at the office in sandals and a T-shirt instead of his usual suit. He called a work meeting and broke the news.

For the love of god, swipe left.

Remember Martin Shkreli? You know that guy who bought the cheap, life-saving AIDS drug and then raised the price by 5000 percent?

Well, just like everyone you know, he's on Tinder and Eve Peyser matched with him. She recognized him and wanted to start a frank conversation about his business practices.

It went about as well as you'd expect.

Yeah, seems like a regular, misunderstood dude. Hope he finds true love on Tinder.

US Senate candidate says he did sacrifice a goat and drink its blood.

Florida, folks.

Libertarian candidate for the United States Senate Augustus Sol Invictus has some admissions beyond that fact that his name is not the one given to him at birth (Augustus Sol Invictus is Latin for Majestic Unconquered Son).

Speaking to the Orlando Sentinel Oct. 5, the 32-year-old lawyer admitted to some pesky rumors that had been flying around him.

You know, the usual political attack ones about sacrificing a goat to the god of the wilderness and drinking its blood.

"The only question is when are the citizens going to start fighting back?" he said in a phone interview Friday. "I don't think I'm the only person who sees a cataclysm coming, but I think I'm the only person saying it, and I think that scares people."

Sacrifice? Yes. Brutal and sadistic? Not according to Invictus.

"I did sacrifice a goat. I know that's probably a quibble in the mind of most Americans," he said. "I sacrificed an animal to the god of the wilderness ... Yes, I drank the goat's blood."

He admits he's been investigated by the FBI, the U.S. Marshals and other law enforcement. He is confident they're still watching him, in part for a series of YouTube videos and other writings in which he discusses government. He renounced his citizenship in one paper, and in another he prophesied a great war, saying he would wander into the wilderness and return bearing revolution.

"I guess it makes me feel flattered that they think I am a threat to the stability of the system. It makes me think one man can make a difference," Invictus said.

That's kind of the tip of the iceberg if you take some time to dive into his campaign website.

The first question on his FAQ?

"Why are you using Mussolini's symbol if you're a Libertarian?"

Can't you lead with a soft ball question for yourself? Like 'Why do you want to be a US Senator?'

On top of the goat thing, he's also said that he was inspired to run for office after hiking from Florida to the Mojave Desert and renounced his US citizenship in 2013. Oh, and he has also alluded to a violent overthrow of the government. Oh, and he's probably fascist.

You can watch his candidacy announcement here. Spoiler, he doesn't mention animal sacrifice.

We forget its coming, but then every year the World Beard and Mustache Championships rise up out of a tiny town in Austria and show us what true manliness can look like. Well, with enough time, hairspray and curling irons that is.

Leogang, Austria was home to this collection of beautiful facial hair this past weekend. The many contestants arranged their beards and mustaches into artful, surprising ways that must make it difficult to walk around without bumping into everyone.

It's gorgeous. Behold its beauty.

South Carolina is getting a lot of rain, you guys.

The last reports have it that parts of the state has received 25 inches, causing nine deaths.

It's a lot of rain. So much so that caskets have begun to rise out of cemeteries, buoyed by the immense amount of water.

This is obviously very traumatic, but it also poses a health risk with the release of volatile chemicals and gases that might be harmful.

President Obama declared a state of emergency for the state on Saturday. The rain will end soon, but the troubles seem to be only starting for the beleaguered areas.

Researchers over at Disney are really thinking outside the lines.

This super impressive video shows off an app they made, which turns colored pictures in a coloring book into 3D, moving models.

The video can be a little dry, but when it shows what the app can do, it will blow your freaking mind.

What is this sorcery???

The whole thing reminds us of what Microsoft showed at this year's E3, where they pulled Minecraft up from a table by using a Hololens.

It's kind of a cross between that and this virtual reality app that lets artists draw in the space around them.

We've said it before, but we really are on the cusp of a landmark period for technology influencing art and how it's made. Sit back on enjoy it!

It's raining cats and dogs and they need some help.

Even though Hurricane Joaquin will move off into the Atlantic and not make landfall on the eastern seaboard, it still brought devastating weather to some parts of America.

South Carolina has had over two feet of rain in the past few days and it's caused a great deal of grief across the state.

Some of the most innocent victims of the storm has been the dogs and cats that have found themselves out in the storm, lost without their owners.

Well, the Carolina Pets Facebook page has dedicated itself to providing a place where owners could report lost animals and those who found strays could connect with the owners.

As they say in the description:

This page was created to give people a broader audience to post lost & found notices rather just on random stop signs and utility poles in the community. We have often felt the concern of taking a found pet to a local shelter and then wondering if we could have done more to reunite them with their families. We wanted to bridge the gap between families who have missing pets and the benevolent individuals who go out of their way to try and rescue them.

They've already had some success stories!

Hopefully, everyone is staying safe out there.

Peggy Hill is a goddess of domestication, just like Nicki Minaj.

Vulture has found a really good niche in the mash up space and they proved it again with combining footage of King of the Hill with Nicki Minaj's "Hey Mama". It's great.

"Hey Mama" is a celebration of nesting. Taking care of others and getting plenty in return. Who matches that more than Peggy Hill?

Vulture's mash ups continue to be super fun to watch. Like when Doug called Patti Mayonnaise his "Trap Queen" or when Miss Piggy demanded of Kermit that "B*tch Better Have My Money"

You're doing the world a service you clever geniuses.

Every couple of years, like the Olympics or astronomy-based-end-of-the-world predictions, we get a new James Bond movie. And somehow, its theme song has become almost as much of an event as the movie release. Enter: Sam Smith's theme for Spectre — "The Writing's on the Wall."

The video is fine.

It inter-splices the bare minimum of the footage they can show pre-release and casts a moody shadow over the anticipation of Daniel Craig's return to the character. It also shows Sam Smith looking at ... something.

Like, what are you looking at, Sam?

Eyes over here, bud.

The song itself has split opinions with The New York Post calling it "boring and formulaic", where The New Yorker liked it just fine

Regardless, it's already been the first Bond theme to top the UK charts.

Granted, he's got a tough act to follow.

Adele's 2012 theme for Skyfall was widely received as the gold standard of Bond themes.

What do you think? Like it? Love it?
