A Toronto-area man who is "almost entirely blind" has been making statues out of scrap metal for years, including dragons and dinosaurs.

He asked his daughter to show the pictures on Facebook, but she had bigger plans -- and landed the front page of Reddit.

Jake and Amir's latest foray on CollegeHumorย is on the wonderful world of Reddit. At least it could be wonderful, provided you're not a complete idiot.

Slightly Not Safe For Work, due to some Michael Chiklis-related oddities.

Community Video Game of the Day

Journey to the Center of Hawkthorne, the video game that Community's study group found itself in during the show's season finale, is now a real, actual thing you can play. Windows, OS X and Linux versions of the game were created by developer Kyle Conroy and the very enthusiastic Community fan ... uh, community ... on Reddit.

The game isn't complete yet, but you can play as any of the main study group members -- along with several supporting characters and alternate costumes -- and you can certainly stomp some hippies.

More levels will likely be added as Journey to the Center of Hawkthorne grows more popular online. The fact that recently-deposed Community creator Dan Harmon thinks the game is streets ahead sure doesn't hurt.

As Abed would say, "Cool."

Geek legend Joss Whedon (Buffy, Firefly, Dr. Horrible, pretty much everything ever) is currently answering questions in an AMA (Ask Me Anything) thread on Reddit.

Thousands of questions have already been posted, and Joss has bravely waded through a handful of them thus far, addressing both his past and future work (and, of course, the frequently asked question of when Firefly is finally coming back).

Responding to the suggestion that season 2 of Firefly could be crowdfunded via Kickstarter, Joss pointed out that some of the show's stars are a bit busy with other things right now.

"Step 2: Cancel Castle. Step 3: Cancel Homeland. Step 4: Generally destroy everybody's careers. Step 5: Avoid Step 2," he wrote.

Joss also spilled some new details about the highly-anticipated follow up to Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog.

"We're not shooting right now, we're still in the early stages of writing. But we hope to make a great deal of progress this summer. And you can expect the death of someone you love," he wrote, adding, "Yes, the original cast will be back for Dr. H 2, but Penny will be... um... I don't want to say 'decomposing...'"

Zombie Felicia Day? This is even better than we expected!

Reddit's search for a CEO, which began last September when the site officially became independent from publisher Conde Nast, is finally over.

The new chief is longtime redditor and former Facebook Director of Engineering Yishan Wong. Although Wong admits he doesn't have any CEO experience, and was frankly surprised he was taken seriously as a candidate for the job, he says his startup-related skills will come in handy as Reddit completes its spinoff into an independent entity.

Wong has been on Reddit since 2005, and he says he's not looking to rock the boat. Instead, he'll focus on making Reddit a good place to work and adding new features that will "improve functionality for users and mods, help with subreddit discovery, improve the API, and help bring Reddit to more people."

In true Reddit style, Wong has promised to answer questions from the community in an AMA.

Tim Schafer Reddit AMA of the Day

Tim Schafer's Double Fine Productions recently raised $2 million via Kickstarter to produce a new point-and-click adventure game, so Schafer visited Reddit over the weekend to answer any questions fans might have about that (or anything else).

Apart from expressing his preference for Scandinavian pancakes with lingonberries, Schafer revealed some details about Double Fine Adventure and took questions about his work on classic LucasArts games like Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle.

Schafer confirmed that his former LucasArts collaborator Ron Gilbert will be helping out with the new game, although he's busy on a secret project of his own. He also said that the engine for Double Fine Adventure will be written from scratch, and not based on the SCUMM engine that powered several classic adventure titles.

Asked about Minecraft creator Markus "Notch" Persson's offer to fund Psychonauts 2, Schafer said he woke up with everyone telling him to check Twitter, and "I just assumed we were getting sued again. But, Phew, it was only some awesome millionaire who wants to make awesome."

Schafer also revealed that he's thought about funding the Psychonauts sequel via Kickstarter, but hasn't yet decided one way or another.
