Teenage bouts to the death are apparently all the rage these days, but Marvel's not playing coy with their reference material for Avengers Arena.

The Battle Royale-inspired new title starts this December, as a follow-up to Avengers Academy and should be bloody good fun, albeit cash-grabby.

The most recent gameplay of PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale, showcasing recently announced characters like Bioshock's Big Daddy and Uncharted's Nathan Drake.

Strangely, the video repeats itself halfway through, so it's only half as long as it looks.
