The Legend of Korra may take a lot from Japanese anime, but it's certainly a product of America. This fan-made version of the opening credits offers a likely alternate reality.

Tuesdays, amirite? Several Marvel superheroes (and a few supervillains) know what I'm talking about in Junaid Chundrigar's silly Avengers-inspired cartoon, "Disassembled."

Axe Cop, the acclaimed comic created by then-five-year-old writer Malachai Nicolle and drawn by his cartoonist older brother, Ethan, is getting an animated adaptation for Fox's upcoming Animation Domination HD late-night cartoon block.
Unfortunately, Malachai hasn't been tapped to write, so we can only hope that the show is based on his comic scripts, or at least retains their pure sense of what makes an awesome story (to wit: a badass cop with an axe fighting dinosaurs).
Axe Cop will air late-night on Saturdays, and could debut as soon as 2013.

First-time Flash animator aekime has created a cartoon nightmare scenario for anyone holding out hope that Gabe Newell will reveal a new Half-Life installment at this year's E3.
If you're such a rabid Half-Life fan that you'd actually bite off someone's ear just for saying they'd rather see another Left 4 Dead, you may want to look away to avoid mental trauma.
Actually, just turn it off after GabeN's hilarious entrance. It's not to be missed.
