Alex Zemke, an animator whose credits include the Uncharted games and Ben 10, is turning his attention to an unofficial Portal animated short starring Chell and the Companion Cube.
The cartoon is called Companionship, and it's still in the early stages. Zemke has released a handful of production stills, though, and they look incredible. Rough animation clips should also be online within the next few weeks.
Zemke is currently getting offers from other animators to help with the short, and he's considering funding it via Kickstarter.
