The trailer for Crytek's Crysis 3 doesn't reveal much about the game itself, which makes sense, because the FPS series has always been a vehicle to flaunt the latest CryEngine graphics. The stunning visuals in the trailer show lush environments, advanced lighting effects, and one really cool looking toad.

EA and CryTek revealed a new Crysis 3 trailer at E3, giving us a further look at the capabilities of their shiny new CryEngine 3.
Here's the game's official synopsis:
Take on the role of 'Prophet' as he returns to New York, only to discover that the city has been encased in a Nanodome created by the corrupt Cell Corporation. Within the Liberty Dome, seven distinct and treacherous environments become known as the Seven Wonders. This dangerous new world demands advanced weapons and tactics. Prophet will utilise a lethal composite bow, an enhanced Nanosuit and devastating alien tech to become the deadliest hunter on the planet.
Crysis 3's release date has also been narrowed down a bit, to February 2013.
Following last week's Crysis 3 teaser, EA and CryTek have released the full trailer for the shooter threequel, with gorgeous visuals powered by the new CryEngine 3.

First teaser trailer for CryTek's highly-anticipated shooter Crysis 3, built on the latest version of the company's eye-popping CryEngine.
It's short, but there is some information to be gleaned here. For example, New York is now a literal urban jungle, and the protagonist now wields a futuristic bow.
The full gameplay trailer for Crysis 3 is set to drop on April 24.
