Break out the Praxis Kits -- Popular Science is reporting that a bionic eye prototype has been successfully implanted in a blind woman, allowing her to see rudimentary flashes of light and shapes.

From this point, scientists wish to ramp up the amount of electrodes in bionic eye prototypes, which could facilitate dramatic increases in visual perception.

Riding on the white, flowy coattails of yesterday's Michael Fassbender-Assassin's Creed announcement is Eidos Montreal, planning a film version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

There are no stars attached yet, but will include heavy involvement from Eidos, something that Ubisoft is also doing for their new film.
