Eliza Dushku is taking on the role of She-Hulk in Marvel's upcoming Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H, an animated series that will air on Disney XD.

Most geeks know Dushku as the stunning star of Joss Whedon's Dollhouse, but Hulk won't be her first superhero voice acting gig: She also played Catwoman in DC's animated adaptation of Batman: Year One.

The news of Dushku's casting comes from Adrian Pasdar, who played Nathan Petrelli in Heroes and now voices Iron Man in Disney's Ultimate Spider-Man animated series.

Teaser for Tron: Uprising, Disney's upcoming animated series set entirely in The Grid.

Elijah Wood stars as Beck, a young program who leads a revolution inside the computer world and becomes a protege of the original Tron (voiced by Bruce Boxleitner). Emmanuelle Chriqui, Mandy Moore, Paul Reubens, Nate Corddry, and Reginald VelJohnson will also provide voices for the series.

Disney plans to use Uprising, which mixes CG and traditional animation, as a gauge of audience interest in a third live-action Tron film, which is currently in the scripting stages.

Tron: Uprising airs this summer on Disney XD.

Disney could be working on an animated feature starring Marvel superheroes, according to a rumor started by Disney-tracking blog Blue Sky Disney.

The site reported on an upcoming "uber-secret project" from Winnie the Pooh director Don Hall which will "generate a lot of buzz in certain geek communities" and will be "marvelously unexpected."

Marvelous, you say? Very interesting!

The project, due out in 2014 or 2015, is reportedly in the "very early embryonic stages," so there's no word yet on which (if any) of Marvel's superheroes will be getting the Disney treatment.

My pick would be Pixar's Iron Man.

Disney's Epic Mickey 2, the sequel to the company's successful 2010 Wii platformer, has its first trailer.

The big news in Epic Mickey 2 is the ability to play as Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, a classic Disney character who made his first appearance since 1928 in Epic Mickey. While Mickey Mouse will still have his paintbrush and paint thinner, Oswald will have the ability to control electricity.

Epic Mickey 2 will also be a musical, with characters breaking into different songs depending on the player's choices.

The game is due out on Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3 this fall.

John Carter may lose more money at the box office than previously expected, according to a new statement from Disney.

Although analysts predicted just last week that the $250 million blockbuster might only lose $100-150 million, the studio is claiming a $200 million loss.

Disney:

In light of the theatrical performance of John Carter ($184 million global box office), we expect the film to generate an operating loss of approximately $200 million during our second fiscal quarter ending March 31. As a result, our current expectation is that the Studio segment will have an operating loss of between $80 and $120 million for the second quarter.

The studio says it's counting on the highly-anticipated The Avengers and Brave to pull it out of the hole for 2012.

Even in the best-case scenario, with better-than-predicted DVD sales, John Carter will still lose over $50 million.

Sorry, Carter fans, but things don't look so good for a sequel.
