Alex and Laura had a rather novel ringbearer at their recent wedding: a Qinetiq Dragon Runner bomb disposal robot.

Laura happens to work for Qinetiq, which gave her the inside track on borrowing an unmanned ground vehicle to carry her ring down the aisle.

According to a blog post from Laura's father, the ring box fit perfectly into the 10-pound 'bot's claw.

Oh, and he also reports that "Mr. Roboto" was playing during the handoff from robot to best man. Sure, why not?
