While every male action star of the past 30 years -- except these two -- is blowing away bad guys this weekend, a female-driven spin-off is already in the works. Producer Adi Shankar (The Grey) has reportedly tapped Dutch Southern to pen the ass-kicking estrogen fest, in the vein of the ultra-violent Sly Stallone action vehicles.

Obviously there's no word on who will star, but anyone involved in the deaths of aliens, zombies, vampires or Terminators is probably on the short list.

The first TV spot for Len Wiseman's reboot of Total Recall, starring Colin Farrell, has arrived on the web.

We've seen some of this footage in previous trailers, but the scene between Farrell and Kate Beckinsale is new. And, apparently, we haven't even begun to see her try to kill him.

Total Recall opens wide August 3.
