Obligatory Mashup of the Day

If you were worried that nobody was going to mash up the "Harrison Ford plays ..." meme and the recently-released footage of Han Solo embarrassing himself in a Kinect Star Wars Galactic Dance-Off, you can breathe easy now.

The Internet always delivers.

New Low of the Day

New footage from Kinect Star Wars's much-mocked Galactic Dance-Off mode shows that even Han Solo isn't immune to the childhood-destroying combination of Star Wars and Dance Central.

Han gets down to a remixed version of Jason Derulo's "Ridin' Solo" -- "I'm Han Solo," natch -- in a dance-off against Lando Calrissian. No matter who wins, we all lose.

Kinect Star Wars is out tomorrow, so you still have one more night to think about how much you really want that R2-D2 Xbox.

Freddie Wong Video of the Day

In his latest video, Freddie Wong travels back in time to 1998 to warn his younger self about one of the greatest dangers of the present day: the advent of the Nintendo Wii and motion-controlled gaming.

He even breaks out the apocalyptic prophecy that is Kinect Star Wars' Galactic Dance-Off.

Bonus points for an amazing Overdrift reference. Duke: out!

Star Wars Kinect Footage of the Day

Microsoft has released some B-roll footage from its Kinect Star Wars demo, establishing lightsaber dueling as the coolest part of the game and the Galactic Dance-off as totally embarrassing.

Stormtroopers dancing to YMCA in a Death Star hangar probably isn't canon, but who knows what George Lucas has signed off on? He did name a planet after Jon Stewart on a whim, after all.

The video also includes new podracing footage, but unfortunately doesn't give us a closer look at the building-smashing Rancor Destruction mode, which seems like a good way to take out your anger about the other parts of the game.

At least the R2-D2 Xbox still looks cool.
