The LEGO Group celebrates 80 years of ingenuity with a short film about the company's history. The colorful building blocks were the brainchild of Danish toy maker Ole Kirk Christiansen, and the video tells the story from the perspective of the founder's grandson, Kjeld.

Expert LEGO builder Peerk Krueger has rolled out three new motorized Batman designs, with the hope of adding them to the LEGO Gotham arsenal. The Tumblers -- featured in black and camo -- rumble around decked out with working LED lights, while The Bat "hovers" with moving rotors. Krueger has put up proposals on Cuusoo for both vehicles, which means the two replicas may not be relegated to one-off status.
LEGOs might be pricey, but they're nowhere near as expensive as an electric wheelchair.
