Confirmed, locked down, set in stone: Untitled Marvel's Avengers Sequel, directed by Joss Whedon, is officially set for May 1, 2015.
Note that it's not called The Avengers 2, meaning we could get a fancy subtitle instead of a digit.
It may be great news that Daredevil movie rights are reverting back to Marvel Studios, but potentially disappointing for the canned project at 20th Century Fox.
This speculative video, cut from other movies and comics, was essentially a pitch for the type of film that director Joe Carnahan wanted to make for the Man Without Fear.
