If the Avengers failed, the "kill-em-with-cuteness" approach was all SHIELD had left.

It's finally here: the 31-disc, limited edition, $350 dollar Harry Potter Wizard's Collection has arrived and may be purchased on Amazon, for those of you with a vault full of galleons to spend.
It's full of cool knick-knacks and oddities for Potter fans, but there are complaints about the lack of extended editions. For many, this exclusion is a real Avada Kedavra to the heart.

Samuel L. Jackson, in his never-ending quest to be cast in almost every movie ever made, has joined Spike Lee's American remake of Oldboy. Jackson's role is described as "small, but critical" -- par for the course for Jackson -- and rumors abound that he will play the bodyguard of the lead character, played by Josh Brolin.
Oldboy begins filming this fall.
Disney has just dropped the sweet, delicious news that Joss Whedon is attached to direct The Avengers 2, and that's not all -- he's returning to TV as well.
In one of the greatest cases of both having and eating cake, Papa Joss will have a guiding hand on Marvel's upcoming show based on the established Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It might be a few years before we'll have more news on either project, but it's well worth getting excited for.
Excelsior!
It was recently reported that the movie adaptation of Max Brooks' World War Z was headed back to Budapest for a whopping seven weeks of reshoots, but it wasn't clear exactly why.
Well, here's our answer, courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter: the script is getting an overhaul from LOST and Prometheus writer Damon Lindelof, with reshoots due to start in the fall. Word is that Lindelof will focus on fixing up the movie's third act.
World War Z's June 21, 2013 release date hasn't been officially shifted yet.

These Avengers-themed TOMS are unfortunately not real, just a product of the imagination (and Photoshop skills) of awesomely-named Tumblrer Tom Hiddlestunned.
Check out shoes for all six main Avengers team members and Loki -- what, no Nick Fury? -- on Tumblr.
NB: These designs are based on existing TOMS styles, so you could always make your own with a few clever modifications.
