It looks like Justice League isn't the only DC superhero movie up Warner Bros. sleeve. The studio has just signed Green Lantern writer Michael Goldenberg to script a Wonder Woman movie.

Wonder Woman recently flopped on the small screen, with a failed pilot starring Adrianne Palicki, but it looks like DC thinks it will have more success as a big-screen blockbuster. No word on a release timetable, or whether this film would lead into the Justice League movie the way Marvel's superhero films set up The Avengers.

Also no word on casting, but if they don't sign Christina Hendricks, may I suggest Erica Durance (who won a "who wore it better" battle with Palicki when she donned the TV Wonder Woman costume during a cameo on Harry's Law)?

Well, this is a pleasant surprise: Marvel has awarded the job of directing Captain America 2 to brothers Anthony and Joseph Russo, whose notable credits include Arrested Development, Community and You, Me and Dupree.

The Russos were considered longshot candidates when they were added to the shortlist back in March, but Marvel Studios honcho Kevin Feige said he liked the "vibe" of his meeting with them. And remember, this is the guy who put Joss Whedon on The Avengers, so his instincts appear quite sound.

Nothing else is known about the Cap sequel, other than a release date -- April 14, 2014 -- and the fact that the movie will split time between World War II and the present day.

After the success of The Avengers, Warner Bros. has finally decided to move forward with its long-awaited Justice League movie, tapping writer Will Beall (Gangster Squad, Castle) to provide the script. Beall also has his hands in a couple of upcoming remakes: Lethal Weapon and Logan's Run.

Is the push to compete with Marvel's ultimate superhero teamup enough to finally get Justice League off the ground? And if it does happen, will it be any good?

Peter Jackson's latest production video from the set of The Hobbit gives us a look inside New Zealand's Stone Street Studios, where all the movie's sound stages are located.

Notable cameos include several of the dwarves, Billy Connolly (who plays Dain), and Luke Evans (Bard the Bowman). And, if you hang in there until the end, you'll see the identity of the cameraman, who has a controversial role in the Hobbit movies.

The first trailer for Prometheus, remade entirely in paper by Travis Betz, is still plenty terrifying.

Disney has released a few sneak peek stills from retro video game-inspired flick Wreck-It Ralph, one day ahead of the film's official trailer.

Since the posters for the film were all 8-bit, this is a first look at the full CGI version of titular villain-turned-hero Ralph, along with the now-unemployed cast of the classic game Q*Bert.

Wreck-It Ralph is due out November 2.

Bad news for Marc Forster's movie adaptation of Max Brooks' World War Z: the production is headed back to Budapest for a whopping seven weeks of reshoots.

The zombie flick has already been pushed back from December 2012 to June 21, 2013, and now The Daily Mail reports that star Brad Pitt will be returning to the set for what appears to be an extensive reworking of the movie.

Of course, WWZ isn't the only major summer movie to be pushed back for reshoots. G.I. Joe: Retaliation was recently delayed in order to shoot new scenes in 3D and give Channing Tatum more screen time.

Whether World War Z's problems are bigger than that remains to be seen.
