The first batch of images are out for Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing, soon to run the film festival circuit and be totally awesome.

Filmed in just 12 days at his house, the black-and-white, modern-day Shakespeare adaptation features a boatload of Whedon alumni, like Nathan Fillion as Dogberry.

If only more major directors (and actors) would do fun, independent projects like Much Ado.
