Blizzard has announced that Diablo III will be open for beta testing this weekend, and anyone with a Battle.net account is eligible to try out the game.

The beta will include access to all five classes, but characters will top out at level 13 -- hey, they have to save some of the cool higher-level stuff for the full game.

You can sign up and download the D3 beta client right now, and the beta period will end on Monday morning.

The full version of Diablo III is due out May 15.
