Movie goers were left puzzled by more than a few plot devices in Ridley Scott's Prometheus. This animation from HISHEdotcom poses some questions in an attempt to clarify some things. This will only make sense if you've seen the movie, and spoilers abound, obviously.
There's been some action on Ridley Scott's Blade Runner sequel, first announced last summer. Hampton Fancher, the famed screenwriter of the first Blade Runner film, is now in talks to write the follow-up, according to a press release from producers Alcon Entertainment.
Scott and Fancher originally wanted to make a series of films based on Philip K. Dick's story "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" but Scott moved on to other projects (and became the highest-grossing British director of all time).
Now, the duo is finally revisiting the project. All that's known so far is that the new movie will take place years after the conclusion of Blade Runner, and that Blade Runner star Harrison Ford is unlikely to be involved.
Scott's next project is Cormac McCarthy's The Counselor, so filming on the Blade Runner sequel won't begin until 2013 at the very earliest.

A new international trailer for Prometheus reveals some familiar-looking aliens -- both holographic and in the flesh -- and adds to the controversy about whether Ridley Scott and co. are revealing too much with these teasers.
If you're trying to dodge spoilers, you only have to hold out for another few weeks. Prometheus is due out June 8.

After months of tantalizing promotion and a fantastic viral campaign, Prometheus has landed in the first official clip from Ridley Scott's Alien kind-of-prequel.

The latest Project Prometheus promo poster for Ridley Scott's Prometheus provides a diagram of the movie's titular spacecraft, showing the locations of the fireproof windscreen, medical bays and ejectable lifeboats.
Given the terror we've seen in trailers for the film, all of those things should definitely come in handy for the ship's crew.
Prometheus arrives in theaters June 8, 2012.

A set of 18 new stills from Ridley Scott's Prometheus has hit the web, courtesy of Kino Gallery, and they show the whole crew of the Prometheus, plus Charlize Theron's Weyland Corp. executive, Meredith Vickers, and Scott himself on set.
In case you're not familiar with the ship's roster, it includes scientists Shaw (Noomi Rapace) and Holloway (Logan Marshall-Green), captain Janek (Idris Elba), botanist Milburn (Rafe Spall), geologist Fifield (Sean Harris), and android David (Michael Fassbender).
Although these shots all appear to be from before the mission goes horribly wrong, there may spoilers for anyone who wants to analyze them carefully.
