From the "Things Very Few People Asked For" department comes word from Norman Reedus that he recently met with Sean Patrick Flannery and Troy Duffy to discuss a third film in the The Boondock Saints saga. Reedus, who stars in AMC's The Walking Dead, said "it's definitely in the works. Look for it. It's gonna be crazy."
The first sequel, The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day, released in 2009 -- a scant ten years after the 1999 original. So, in other words, don't hold your breath.

Director James Cameron's plan to revisit Pandora is taking a Star Wars-esque route, as the Avatar director announced the fourth film in the series will be a prequel, taking place 35 years before the events of the first film.
In an interview with MTV, Cameron said he hasn't put pen to paper, but has an idea of what the prequel will address:
...basically it goes back to the early expeditions of Pandora, and kind of what went wrong with the humans and the Na'vi and what that was like to be an explorer and living in that world.
Whether it leads to more prequels is dependent on the the story-telling process:
...it's a logical thing to do because we'll have completed the thematic arc by the end of three. The only thing left to do is go back to see what it was like on those first expeditions and create some new characters that then become legacy characters in later films. It's a plan.
Hey, at least it seems like he has a plan, unlike the last guy who made a sci-fi prequel trilogy.

The fourth Jurassic Park film has been stuck in development purgatory for what seems like forever, but producer Frank Marshall finally shed some light on the project in a recent interview with Collider. Marshall said fans can expect a summer release within two years, and he hopes to employ more animatronic and puppet dinosaurs than CGI, keeping in line with Steven Spielberg's original film. He also confirmed it is a sequel and not a reboot or remake.
The writing duo of Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, who teamed for Rise of the Planet of the Apes, recently signed on to write the screenplay.
Marvel Studios has tapped Chuck star Zachary Levi to take over the role of Fandral in Thor 2. Josh Dallas originally played the Asgard warrior, but network obligations with ABC's original series Once Upon A Time rendered him unavailable to continue the role. Production is scheduled to begin on the sequel in July, featuring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Idris Elba and Anthony Hopkins.
