Knife-Shooting Slingshot of the Day

Slingshot wizard Joerg Sprave's latest work of art bloody destruction is a slingshot that shoots throwing knives (because apparently just, you know, throwing them wasn't deadly enough).

Don't try this at home, obviously.

Weaponized Office Supplies of the Day

Slingshot master Joerg Sprave teaches BusinessWeek how to make powerful weapons from readily-available office supplies, including paper, tape, a pair of scissors, and an old USB cable.

Sprave writes, "A part of the video - the pencil shooter - was actually published by them, the other weapons have probably been too effective (= scary lawsuit magnets) - they did not use it."

That didn't stop him from publishing the deadly director's cut himself.

Eat your heart out, MacGyver (before Sprave shoots it out with a sharpened projectile)!

Cannonball Slingshot of the Day

Deadly slingshot master Joerg Sprave finally found enough open space to test his massive walkback slingshot with a heavy steel cannonball and -- after a few practice shots -- did some serious damage to a haystack 44 yards away.

44 yards is nothing, though. By popular demand, Sprave tested the maximum range on this bad boy and discovered that it's nearly 200 yards.

Sharpened Pencil Slingshot of the Day

With his latest project, master slingshot builder Joerg Sprave has taken a dangerous classroom weapon -- the rubber band-launched, sharpened pencil -- and turned it deadly.

His "Nerd Revenge 2000" is a pump-action slingshot that can empty a 10-pencil magazine in under five seconds, firing pencils at a range of around 15 feet.

Once he adds field tips from actual arrows to the pencils, they pack even more power, traveling at around 97 MPH.

Sprave has declared this his most fun slingshot ever, which is high praise coming from the guy who invented a slingshot that shoots saw blades.
