The latest in Prometheus' series of character-based teasers -- see Michael Fassbender's David and Noomi Rapace's Dr. Elizabeth Shaw -- has hit the web, and it puts the spotlight on Weyland Corp. executive Meredith Vickers, played by Charlize Theron.
Thus far, Vickers is best known for the line, "If you're really going down there, you're going to die," and this featurette confirms that she's basically the foil to the rest of the Prometheus team as they attempt to make contact with an alien race.
Prometheus lands in theaters June 8.

It's short, but there is some information to be gleaned here. For example, New York is now a literal urban jungle, and the protagonist now wields a futuristic bow.
The full gameplay trailer for Crysis 3 is set to drop on April 24.

You've seen the first poster for DC and Cartoon Network's Beware the Batman, and now the first teaser video for the new CGI-animated show has arrived.
It's not much, but it does introduce Batman's voice -- delivered by a still-unannounced actor -- and give us a first look at the CGI Batmobile. He'll be joined by deadly teen girl samurai Katana (aka "the new Robin") and a gun-toting version of Alfred.
Beware the Batman will debut next year as part of Cartoon Network's DC Nation programming block.
A new teaser video and some fresh concept art from the video game adaptation of J.J. Abrams' 2009 Star Trek reboot have arrived on the web.
The game has been under development at Digital Extremes for the past three years, and its plot will bridge the stories of Abrams' first Trek movie and the upcoming sequel.
Specifics about villains, locations and events will be unveiled at E3 this June, along with possible announcements about PlayStation Vita and Wii U versions.
Star Trek is due out in early 2013.
Teaser for Tron: Uprising, Disney's upcoming animated series set entirely in The Grid.
Elijah Wood stars as Beck, a young program who leads a revolution inside the computer world and becomes a protege of the original Tron (voiced by Bruce Boxleitner). Emmanuelle Chriqui, Mandy Moore, Paul Reubens, Nate Corddry, and Reginald VelJohnson will also provide voices for the series.
Disney plans to use Uprising, which mixes CG and traditional animation, as a gauge of audience interest in a third live-action Tron film, which is currently in the scripting stages.
Tron: Uprising airs this summer on Disney XD.
