Matt Smith only plays a time traveler on TV, right? Well, this vintage photo of the Eleventh Doctor hanging out with the Beatles begs to differ.

It's apparently not a 'shop -- more likely, it's a '60s Matt Smith lookalike convincing enough to make even Steven Moffat look twice -- but the photo totally makes sense.

I mean, meeting the Beatles is the first thing a lot of people would do with a TARDIS ... right after killing Hitler, of course.

Although we may never get to see Matt Smith and Benedict Cumberbatch face off on Doctor Who, YouTuber Liisakee has given us the next best thing: the Doctor and Sherlock Holmes duetting on Irving Berlin's famous "Anything You Can Do (I Can Do Better)."

Cumberbatch is a pretty busy guy these days, but if he could find some time to drop by the Who set to do a real-life version of this performance, it would be the best Doctor Who/Sherlock DVD extra ever.
