Bad news for fans of prehistoric time-travel drama Terra Nova: negotiations between 20th Century Fox and Netflix to continue the show online appear to have fallen through.

20th Century Fox hasn't released the actors from the cancelled show yet, but there don't appear to be any other networks willing to share the high cost of the show's prehistoric sets and special effects.

Previous shows Netflix has rescued after cancellation, including the beloved comedy <em>Arrested Development, don't come close to Terra Nova's budget.

The first trailer for the new Lupin III television anime series, Lupin III: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine, is now online after being shown at a 40th anniversary event for the classic anime.

The 13-episode series will follow younger versions of the main cast -- the world's greatest thief, his allies, and the police inspector who is constantly chasing them -- with a particular focus on femme fatale Fujiko Mine.

It will feature the voice cast from last December's Lupin III TV special, Blood Seal, which introduced new voices for some of the main characters for the first time in 16 years.

Lupin III: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine premieres April 4 on Japan's NTV.

The BBC has released a rootin-tootin' first trailer for series 7 of Doctor Who, featuring the Doctor and his companions in the Wild West.

The crew of the TARDIS faces down a cyborg with a huge gun arm, Amy does irresponsible things with firearms, and we get to see Matt Smith on a horse.

Looks like that cool Stetson is going to come in very handy this season.

Doctor Who returns this fall.

The first photo of Jenna-Louise Coleman in character as the Doctor's new companion -- standing next to the TARDIS, no less! -- has hit the web courtesy of the BBC.

Showrunner Steven Moffat has said that the identity of Coleman's character will be "one of the biggest mysteries the Time Lord ever encounters," and all we know thus far is that she can talk circles around the Doctor.

That unusual sweater has to be some kind of clue, though, doesn't it?

Coleman will make her Doctor Who debut in this year's Christmas Special.
