Upgraded StarFox Intro of the Day

The opening sequence of 1993's SNES smash hit StarFox gets a contemporary HD upgrade from YouTuber Rickonami, who previously gave the same treatment to Earthbound.

Aside from one little mistake -- James McCloud is Fox's father, not Fox's real name -- it's quite the upgrade.

All ships check in!!

Sort-of-not-safe-for-work trailer for pornographic parody director Lee Roy Myers' latest effort: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: A XXX Parody.

It looks like most of the major cast members from the show get spoofed, with the lead roles going to Lexi Belle as Buffy and Jessie Andrews as Willow.

Here's the salacious synopsis:

Buffy and her friends are back to protecting the Valley from things that go bang in the night. After Willow accidentally casts a love potion that awakens her friends' libidos & some dark supernatural forces, the gang tries to save Giles from a pack of evil & beautiful female vampires. Will they succeed, or will they get sucked to death?!

Well, Joss did say he wished he could have taken Dollhouse in a more "deviant" direction, but this may not be exactly how he envisioned Buffy continuing.

Obligatory Pony Thing of the Day

Star Wars meets My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic in one of the most inevitable mashups in fandom history.

That doesn't mean there aren't a few surprises, though. Derpy as Greedo was an inspired touch. (Also, Applejack shot first. Obvs.)

May the horse be with you!

YouTube icon boogie2988 -- better known as Francis the Angry Nerd -- spoofs the Internet's latest Worst Song Ever candidate in "Gamer Problems."

He's actually less tone-deaf than the original singers, although that's not saying much.

Also, listen for a rap cameo by the inimitable Dan Bull.

Director Sean Soong's Star Wars and Matrix-inspired animated short, SubWars, reminds you why it's always a good policy to give up your subway seat to a tired old man: because he might murder you with his lightsaber.

Weaponized Office Supplies of the Day

Slingshot master Joerg Sprave teaches BusinessWeek how to make powerful weapons from readily-available office supplies, including paper, tape, a pair of scissors, and an old USB cable.

Sprave writes, "A part of the video - the pencil shooter - was actually published by them, the other weapons have probably been too effective (= scary lawsuit magnets) - they did not use it."

That didn't stop him from publishing the deadly director's cut himself.

Eat your heart out, MacGyver (before Sprave shoots it out with a sharpened projectile)!

Uncharted Movies of the Day

The Uncharted series would lend itself brilliantly to a big screen adaptation -- Nathan Drake is the new Indy, duh -- so while the project has stalled in Hollywood, Redditor morphinapg edited the cutscenes from the first three Uncharted games into feature-length films.

He writes:

With these projects I was trying to make movies that would be viewable whether or not you had played the game, or even care about playing video games, so I wanted to make them as close to a real movie as possible. This meant taking out as many chapter titles, button prompts, and more to make it seem less like a video game.

See you in six hours, everybody.
