Yesterday on his radio show, host Carson Daly was discussing the recent "medical incident" involving a JetBlue pilot when he suggested that homosexuals would not have been able to subdue the dangerous pilot.

In the audio above, Daly makes anti-gay jokes and then mocks homosexuals by changing his voice to sound like a gay stereotype.

"This morning on my radio show I attempted to make fun of myself & offended others by mistake," tweeted Daly later. "I sincerely apologize."

Today, after considerable criticism, The Voice host issued another apology via GLAAD.

"I've long been a supporter of gay, lesbian, and transgender rights, and I'm saddened that my comments, however unintentional, offended anyone, specifically members of the LGBT community," read Daly's statement. "The fact that I have hurt anyone is devastating. I'm not that guy."

The host concluded that he is proud to be an ally of the LGBT community, and vowed that he would continue to fight with them.

X-Files star Gillian Anderson has come out as bisexual in a brand new interview.

The actress offhandedly mentions that she was "in a relationship with a girl for a long time" while talking about high school and her relationships as a young woman.

When asked to elaborate by Out magazine, Anderson said "Yeah, yeah, well it's... You know, I'm old enough that I can talk about that."

She added that she had not previously discussed her relationships with women because she did not want to make a "big deal" out of it, and wonders if it would have been a different experience if she were a lesbian, and not bisexual.

"Would it have been a bigger deal if shame had been attached to it and all those things that become huge life-altering issues for youngsters in that situation?" asks Anderson. "It's possible that my attitude around it came, on some level, from knowing that I still liked boys."
