He even took time to explain the science behind a few examples of 'proof' of a flat Earth and why they are so, so wrong.

UPDATE to the update, B.o.B. has just released a song aimed directly at Neil deGrasse Tyson and all about the flatness of Earth. NSFW Warning: This song contains a few words that are not appropriate for the scientific community.

In the UK, it's required to screen all films (that you plan on showing to the public) through the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC).  It's expensive, costing over £100 to submit and another £7 per minute of screening. It also opens your film up to censorship.  In protest of the amount of control and censorship the BBFC imposes on the UK film industry, filmmaker Charlie Lyne created a video of paint drying to send to the BBFC.

His Kickstarter managed to fund a little over 10 hours of screening time that the BBFC will now have to watch and rate.  Here is a clip of what they will be watching:

Obviously she's too small to dig you out of your house, but look at those snow swimming skills! Surely she could manage to bring you a slice of pizza in your time of need.

Last year was all about snacking rodents. Hopefully this year will not turn out to be all about rodents dealing with harsh weather conditions.

This athletic pup is named Ludivine, and according to her owner, she's prone to escaping and taking long strolls around town.  This time she happened to wander into the start line of the Elkmont Half-Marathon in Alabama.

Attendees, including Tim Horvath who ran most of the race with Ludivine, told Runner's World that she ran the whole race from start to finish.

Although she did make a few pit stops that included meeting another dog and sniffing countless yards and streams, she still managed to finish seventh in the race.

Volunteers were so surprised that she ran the whole race they gave her an honorary medal for her seventh place spot.

This adorable sloth just wanted to cross the road but he ran into some trouble. He was found clinging to the median on the highway in Ecuador and rescued by traffic police.  They took a few pictures with him to document the situation, he seems very happy that someone is there to help.

According to the Facebook page of Ecuador's transit commission he was taken to a veterinarian who gave him the OK to be returned to the wild.

What look like Darkseid's parademons have already been pointed out from the earliest Batman v Superman trailers but now there is more proof that this character may be making an appearance.

Finally an image has been released that seems to show Darkseid's Omega Symbol stamped in the dirt. This seems to suggest that he will be making at appearance at some point in the film.

While covering the snowstorm in New York City, CNN spoke with Steven Tyler and his daughter Mia, who just happened to wander by.  Since famous people can sometimes influence the masses, the anchor asked them at the end of the interview if they had any wise words for the people at home considering venturing out in the snow.

Their advice? Just stay home where there's HOT CHOCOLATE AND FAMILY HUGS.
