Workers at the construction site of the World Trade Center complex used a GoPro camera to film the historic placement of One World Trade Center's spire last Friday, resulting in a beautiful bird's eye-view of the Manhattan skyline from the new tallest building in the Western Hemisphere (1,776 ft).
Watch out Ridiculously Photogenic Emirati Guy, a new challenger has arrived. The princely, blue-eyed Iraqi male model has been making some buzz this week for his over-the-top, photoshopped and all too seductive head shots, which will either make you cringe or fall in love (or maybe both). For an extra kick of WTF, be sure to check out his even stranger video aptly titled "Ahmed Angel is Planet." In a recent interview with the International Business Times, Angel revealed that he is currently studying medicine in Belarus and that he is "not a model" but a "Top Model," whatever that means.
Though it's been quietly in the works since 2011, Fox has officially confirmed that Carl Sagan's monumental 1970 sci-ed miniseries Cosmos: A Personal Voyage will be getting an updated sequel next year, which will consist of 13 episodes produced by Family Guy's Seth MacFarlane and hosted by one of the Internet's most celebrated astrophysicists, Neil Degrasse Tyson. Fox is hoping the show will have as much as of cultural impact as Carl Sagan's original series, which still remains one of the most watched PBS series in the world to this day.

Say it ain't so! The uplifting Californian couple that performed what was thought to be a spontaneous karaoke duet as part of Jay Leno's Tonight Show "Pumpcast News" segment may have actually been hired actors, according to The Smoking Gun. Monifa has since responded to the allegations, claiming it was just a coincidence that she ended up on the show for a second time. What do you think?
Oh noz, it looks like Florida Man did it again. Back in January, an undercover IRS informant met up with a South Florida couple for a fancy dinner at a steakhouse, during which they handed him a flash drive allegedly containing more than 50,000 stolen identities that could be used to file fraudulent tax returns. Upon examining the drive, the IRS was able to recover about 50 stolen identities and trace its footprint to a man named "Troy Maye." Now, catching a thief red-handed is no cakewalk, but in this case, it literally turned out to be as easy as running a Google search. After finding Maye's now-private Instagram account via Google search, the authorities were surprised to find a geotagged photo of his delicious steak dinner (shown above) from the same night he had met up with the informant. And the rest is history--the couple were promptly arrested by IRS agents and they are now facing up to 12 years in federal prison and serious fines.
