The Cincinnati Zoo is trying to put the drama of Harambe behind them by asking the Internet to "Stop making memes of our dead gorilla."

So, in honor of the "retirement" of the Harambe Meme, here are some of our favorites:

The zoo might "not be amused," but we sure as hell are! RIP Harambe.

Up until now the rate of disaster in the world seemed to be set at a slow burn, just like the "This is fine" dog's kitchen. Well, as you may have noticed, everything is NOT fine. And this beloved meme/comic has noticed too. The original creator of the meme KC Green, has added an update to this classic.

If you love memes and you love those Apples to Apples clone style card games (think Cards Against Humanity etc) then you're in luck! This new card game takes prewritten text and matches it up with a host of popular meme pictures in a similar style. It's already met $166,108 of it's original $10,000 goal with 13 days to go so this product is obviously in high demand. Can't argue with cash.

Happiest update #2 for the happiest Wookie in the world. The "Happy Chewbacca" lady got to laugh it up with James Corden and J.J. Abrams on The Late Show. At this rate, maybe she'll get a cameo in Episode 8?

It almost seemed like there was hope for the Blazers until Steph Curry made an effortless looking three point shot. Thankfully, a cameraman caught Paul Allen's expression for the internet to meme at that exact moment.
