From The Archives: Eddie Murphy -- by then a former cast-member -- was invited to host Saturday Night Live for a second time on December 15, 1984 -- the 10th season's Christmas episode.

Veteran comedian Billy Crystal had joined the show at the start of the season, becoming an instant fan-favorite.

Crystal and Murphy appeared together in the episode's promo, and joked (?) about the former stealing the latter's "glory."
