In November of 2013 the Make-a-Wish Foundation helped a little boy's dream come true by turning him into Batkid and calling on him to save the city of San Francisco. The charity organization recently put together a behind-the-scenes video of how the whole day played out.
Last we checked on the Batkid, a young boy whose Make a Wish Foundation gave him a day to clean up the streets of San Fran as the Dark Knight, he was in training for his big day (undoubtedly brushing up on his martial arts and polishing some batarangs). As of today, he's saved a damsel in distress, put the Riddler behind bars, and will soon be receiving a key to the city from the mayor himself. Check out more live updates here!
UPDATE: Watch the ABC News coverage of crowds of people cheering on Miles as he comes to the rescue as Batboy!
Make-a-Wish is giving a 5-year-old little boy, Miles, the surprise of a lifetime by turning San Francisco into Gotham for a day and calling on him to save the city. On November 15th, Miles will be...BatKid!
That morning, there will be a breaking news announcement in San Francisco from the police chief saying there is trouble in the city, and he desperately needs BatBoy's help. Miles will then spend the day living the life of a super hero fighting bad guys and solving crime.
