Tony Dyson, known best as the creator of R2-D2, recently passed away in his home in Malta. Now his friends have started a crowdfunding campaign to cover the costs of his funeral services. The GoFundMe page explains:

Sadly, as wonderfully savvy he was with creating, money wasn't one of his strong suits. As the people who love him dearly, we are trying to make his arrangements. His wish was to be donated to science, because he wanted those to look into his brilliant brain. Sadly, due to the circumstances surrounding his death (he died alone in his apartment of natural causes), he wasn't found quickly enough to have this happen.  We believe his next wish was to be cremated. We have gotten an invoice for this to happen, and the cost in US Dollars is close to $8000. Needless to say, this is more money than most of his friends have on hand.Malta does not do cremation, so his body has to be shipped to his home country, England.  This is the major expense and why it is so costly.

So far, the page has raised $3,600 of it's $7,000 goal.

Abe Vigoda had a long and memorable career as a craggy character actor. Who could forget his stunning performances in film and TV shows such as The Godfather, Barney Miller and Goodburger.

Multiple resources the internet used to keep track of Abe Vigoda's life status, including a parody Twitter account and a dedicated website, have had to change their status to reflect this new development. All we have now is this touching tribute from Conan O'Brien featuring some of Vigoda's best appearances in sketches on the show.

A man that looks like Bradley Cooper, but isn't, has been spotted causing trouble at Sundance this weekend by using his uncanny looks to crash a party for a film.
This might be him, having a great time as the celebrity he always knew he should be:

According to a bystander who spoke to Page Six about the incident, he made quite a scene as he was escorted out:

“He said, ‘You’re done for!’ and would not give ID,” said a spy of the “star” when he was confronted by security. “He pushed a button on an iPhone and had a picture of ‘The Hangover’ as his screensaver.”

Jenna Dewan-Tatum turned her husband's well-watch 'Magic Mike' bit around on him during an episode of Lip Sync Battle and nails it.

Not to be out done, Channing then performed Beyonce's 'Run the World (Girls)' and ending his Queen Bee performance with a special guest.

At 73 years old, Harrison Ford stands to make at least $34 million for reprising the role of Han Solo. Ford was paid $25 million up front, and given a 0.5% share of the movie's earnings, meaning when the film hits $2 billion worldwide (it made over $500 million on its opening weekend), he'll get another $9 million. Meanwhile, Carrie Fisher only got $1.5 million to bring back General Organa.

Even that's a considerable bit more than what the film's two new stars, Daisy Ridley and John Boyega, received; they each only got $450,000 (but do receive a share of the profits once it earns $1 billion globally). If you're keeping track, that means Ford is making 56 times what they are, and 17 times what Carrie Fisher got.

Han Solo is a pretty big deal, but that's still pretty ridiculous. I guess it's a little bit of back-pay for the measly $10,000 he received for the original film.
