The Dixie Chicks are ready, ready, ready, ready—ready to run...right up on stage and perform again!

Music fans are celebrating today after it was announced that 90s' country sensation the Dixie Chicks have reunited for a special world tour staring next year.

The group's DCX MMXVI World Tour will kick off June 1, 2016 in Cincinnati, Ohio and hit 40 cities in the United States and Canada.

While you were getting over your Election Day hangover, the 2014 CMA Awards happened Wednesday night, and hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood kicked off the show, in part, by making a bunch of political jokes.

They covered everything from the Ebola nurse speaking out about quarantine in Maine, President Obama, the White House fence jumpers and, of course, the Democrats losing the Senate, which resulted in a huge applause fromt he CMA crowd.

But it wasn't all politics, the two also poked fun at Taylor Swift's departure from country music, Renee Zellweger's face, and the nude photo scandal.
