Any leprechaun will tell you, don’t take your eyes off the gold.

Owners of this armored truck, who just left an 86-pound bucket of gold flakes out in the open, learned this the hard way, when a passerby swiped the 5-gallon metal bucket from the unguarded van. Apparently, the guard left to grab their cellphone in broad daylight on West 48th Street in New York City.

ABC News said, “The thief lugged the gold flakes up the street, taking an hour to complete what would normally be considered a 10-minute walk. He then hopped into a white van and fled.”

It’s like he showed up to rob the place and half the work was done for him. While the suspect is thought to be hiding in Florida, because of course he is, officials should probably just chalk this one up to a “freebie.”

Drake and Future were performing at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix Tuesday night when a thief (or thieves) made off with a suitcase containing $2-$3 Million dollars worth of jewelry. The suitcase has been on one of the tour buses that the thieves had broken into.

Drake freaked out when he heard the news, and security footage is being reviewed to catch a glimpse of the criminals.

Good thing Drake has a hotline set up for just these purposes...

Sometimes we lose ourselves amidst the pursuit to catch 'em all...Let's just hope that this fool over in Milford, Michigan wasn't actually trying to catch a Parasect before he was apprehended by police authorities.

Chief Thomas Lindberg said the man (William Wilcox) just made it easy, by showing up. Wilcox, a repeat offender with a warrant out for his arrest, ended up right in front of the men that'd go on to take him into custody.

"It was a misdemeanor warrant for a failure to appear on a breaking and entering charge," Lindberg said. "They approached him. Took him in custody without incident and he admitted he was trying to catch the character at the flagpole."

A Georgia judge sentenced Kayla Dixon to 40 years in prison after she pled guilty to shooting a man over his Playstation 4. WSB-TV in Atlanta reports that Dixon gave her confession to the crime as part of a plea deal.

The horrific incident occured when Dixon and her boyfriend attempted to steal the Playstation 4 after 28-year-old Daniel Zeitz posted a listing for the console on Craigslist. Zeitz resisted, and Dixon shot him.

“I would trade anything, almost anything, to bring Daniel back. But I know I can’t,” she said in a statement to press. “I know he had plans. I wish I could tell him I’m so, so sorry that this happened, but I can’t.”
