Facebook is infiltrating your office with the release of a new iOS and Android app called "Work," which will initially only available to a limited number of companies participating the pilot.

The new app isn't exactly the Facebook you are used to. It's an internal social network designed as a communication tool for companies to collaborate on projects without using email.

In other words, it's not for watching cat videos, it's for doing your job.

The new app uses the same interface as the standard Facebook app, but the information is private within your company, and you can create individual groups for specific projects.

Users can create a separate login or link their personal accounts to the professional accounts, but the information posted for work stays in the Work account.

There are no ads and it's free at the moment, but Facebook will most likely charge a subscription fee at some point, according to WSJ.

Faa Sai the elephant was recently rescued from a life of labor and now lives happily at the Elephant Nature Park sanctuary in Thailand.

In the facebook video you can see the young pachyderm playing in a sprinkler, and then breaking said sprinkler because a beast this big needs a bigger stream, obviously.

Facebook has released its annual Year in Review lists for 2014, and they are pretty grim.

In case you needed a reminder of how terrible things were this year, here are the top 10 topics in the United States:

1.Ebola Virus Outbreak

2. Ice Bucket Challenge

3. Robin Williams

4. Super Bowl

5. Michael Brown & Ferguson

6. World Cup

7. Conflict in Gaza

8. Midterm Elections

9. Malaysia Airlines

10. ISIS

Basically lots of horrible deaths and tragedies, but… Ice Bucket Challenge! Yay!

World-wide, the World Cup was the number 1 topic, with Ebola and the Brazil elections in spots 2 and 3.

Other notable winners: Beyonce topped the entertainers category, LeBron James was the most discussed athlete, "Game of Thrones" was the top TV show, "Frozen' the top movie, and Pharrell's "Happy" was the top song.

Facebook even made a top ten list just for the best Ice Bucket Challenge videos - a phenomenon that the company considers a milestone in terms of social sharing - topped by George W. Bush and Will Smith.

"I think the Ice Bucket Challenge was the first time a lot of people realized you could shoot a video and share it," said Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook's chief operating officer.

You can check out all the lists in depth here.

On Wednesday Mark Zuckerberg did his first ever public Q&A in Chinese at Tsinghua University in Beijing to discuss connecting the world, Internet.org, innovation and the early days of Facebook.

Did we mention he did almost the entire session in Mandarin?

As surprising as it is to hear the Facebook CEO break out his Mandarin, it seems that his skill level is far from perfect. Quartz stated "his enunciation was roughly on par with the clarity possible when someone's stepping on your face" and he speaks it "like a seven year old" according to Foreign Policy.

If you are wondering why Zuckerberg knows Mandarin he listed three reasons:

1. His wife is from China and she speaks Mandarin with her grandmother. He wants to interact with her family.
2. He wants to further his understanding about China/Chinese culture. He thinks learning a new language definitely helps him widen his knowledge, etc..
3. He mentioned that Mandarin is hard, he love challenges.

Tanis Jex-Blake posted this photo and letter to Facebook after a trip to the beach:
This is an open letter to the 2 guys and 1 girl who decided to skip work today in Sherwood Park where they were building a house, but instead decided to come to Alberta Beach to relax in the sun, enjoy the water and some beers. I'm sorry if my first attempt at sun tanning in a bikini in public in 13 years "grossed you out". I'm sorry that my stomach isn't flat and tight. I'm sorry that my belly is covered in stretch marks. I'm NOT sorry that my body has housed, grown, protected, birthed and nurtured FIVE fabulous, healthy, intelligent and wonderful human beings. I'm sorry if my 33 year old, 125 lb body offended you so much that you felt that pointing, laughing, and pretending to kick me. But I'll have you know that as I looked at your 'perfect' young bodies, I could only think to myself "what great and amazing feat has YOUR body done?". I'll also have you know that I held my head high, unflinching as you mocked me, pretending that what you said and did had no effect on me; but I cried in the car on the drive home. Thanks for ruining my day. It's people like you who make this world an ugly hateful place. I can't help but feel sorry for the women who will one day bear your children and become "gross" in your eyes as their bodies change during the miraculous process of pregnancy. I can only hope that one day you'll realize that my battle scars are something to be proud of, not ashamed of.
