The Addams family doesn't live in Ohio, but maybe a distant relative does?

This ghoulish family is causing quite a stir in their town with some very realistic Halloween yard decorations, including: an upside-down cross with cadaver, a mummified corpse hanging from a tree and a dead person on a spike.

To top it all off, the display is located just across the street from an elementary school.

In other Ohio news, a Halloween decoration turned out to be the corpse of a mutilated woman.

This photo is definitely real.

Don't even entertain the thought that someone put fake wings on a goat and threw it in the air to take this picture. That's crazy. That definitely did not happen.

What definitely did happen is Dave Black of Little Egg Harbor Township managed to snap a picture of the elusive Jersey Devil, a creature that has haunted the New Jersey Pinelands for 200 years.

The legend of the Jersey Devil states that a woman in the early part of the 18th Century was pregnant with her 13th child. She joked that the devil could take this one—and he did. That child grew into the Jersey Devil.

The History Channel tweeted this out just a couple days ago.

Coincidence? Definitely. This photo is 100 percent real.

It's not October yet, but we can all be pleasantly freaked out by this video of a supposed ghost going HAM all over this quaint Irish home.

Ashy Murphy posted this video and the one below to her Facebook page a couple days ago. Both videos seem to show her standing in the corner of her kitchen while the lampshade freaks out, the bread box opens and a cabinet door swings wide.

But the kicker is this nonsense:

I mean, we don't believe in ghosts or anything, or are at the very least highly skeptical. And all of these things that happen seem pretty easy to reproduce with string and a buddy.

Still, though. This is one of the most compelling pieces purportedly capturing ghost activity that we've seen in a while.

With this invention, you can scare all the trick-or-treaters with decorations at your house and then chase them down the street with them.
