An anonymous hacker, known only on Twitter as @WauchulaGhost, and a few of their friends hijacked several Twitter accounts that were known to be associated or in support of ISIS.  This has been going on for a few months, @WauchulaGhost is apparently affiliated with the "hacktivist" group Anonymous. After the attack in Orlando, they and some others have stared adding rainbows, messages saying "Out and Proud" and even some links to gay porn to these compromised accounts. According to Newsweek, the hacker claims to have taken over at least 200 accounts and plans to continue this campaign.

Tumblr user Obvious Plant (aka Jeff Wysaski/PleatedJeans) is known for conducting some pretty clever pranks in which he “plants” fake signs around shops and other public spots around L.A.

One that recently got a lot of attention involved him placing some fake self-help books like “So You’re Son is a Centaur” among real books at a store in West Hollywood.

He’s also trolled a wine shop with some custom recommendations.

For his latest stunt, Wysaski stopped by a local pet shop and added a few of his own descriptions to some of the animals’ tanks and cages.

“Sometimes, you’ve just got to take it into your own hands to expand a store’s product line,” he writes.

These included everything from Guy Fieri hamsters and baby Godzillas to invisible fish and judgmental tree frogs.

Here are a few below, but you can check out the full set and more of his work on his Tumblr.

Remember that video of the 90-year-old man who was arrested for feeding the homeless in Ft. Lauderdale?

So does Anonymous. And the hackers decided to do something about it Monday in typical Anonymous fashion - with a cordial debate and months of planning and petitioning. Kidding - they hacked the hell out of them.

The group posted a video on YouTube warning the city that it would shut down its municipal websites if it didn't overturn a number of its homeless and panhandling regulations.

"It has come to our attention that Mayor John P. Seiler has become an embarrassment to the good law-abiding citizens of Fort Lauderdale," says the voice in the video. "You are a disgrace."

Soon after, they followed through with their promise, and a number of sites including the police department's were briefly out of commission.

But did it do anything to change the mayor's mind about the laws? Not in the least.

"I don't think we're going to be revisiting this ordinance anytime soon," Seiler said.
