Officer White was recently dispatched to a call of kids playing basketball "loudly" in the streets. In the evening. Having fun. Not committing crimes. Let's see how he handled it.

When a noise complaint was called about a group of kids playing basketball too loudly, this Gainesville, FL police officer showed up to set them straight. And by set them straight, we mean dunking on them while playing basketball.

Officer White handled the issue (or non-issue) like a pro and according to the Gainesville Police Department, he is trying to set up a full game.

If you stepped outside your mid-January, Netflix-addled cave recently you probably heard something about Minnesota Vikings kicker Blair Walsh, and his devastating botched attempt at taking home the W last weekend against the Seattle Seahawks. To put it lightly, it was an unanticipated moment of sheer unfettered insanity.

A 27-yard-attempt miss. Nobody saw that coming. Check out this absurd compilation of fan reactions from both ends of the spectrum:

Anyways following all that madness, a first-grade class wrote a collection of encourage letters to Blair Walsh to cheer the saddened soul up. He responded in pretty much the best and most gracious way possible by visiting the kids today at Northpoint Elementary School in Blaine, Minnesota.

The children passed along advice in their letters like, 'you are handsome,' and 'everyone makes mistakes sometimes. One time I made a mistake when I was doing a cartwheel.'

Cartwheels are tough as fu*k though, so totally understand on that account. Suffice to say, all parties involved were feeling seven kinds of thankful. Keep your head up Walsh!

Wait, what? With the skin? Kids these days man.

This is definitely the little champ you wanted on your team in middle school when you were on a field trip, and you had to pick someone for 'the watermelon challenge.' Oh well, when at a cricket match right?

Worried you might subject your kid to unnecessary ridicule by giving them a needlessly unique name, or that their peers may hate them simply because you picked the "Jim Bob" of this generation? Spare them the torment by avoiding these "trashy" names as described by Redditors around the globe in response to the question "What name is considered to be trashy in your country?"

In 2004, Katie Johnson was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor. Her father, Albin Johnson, wanted to build an R2-D2 droid replica painted pink for her favorite color. It was named it R2-KT in her honor.

Although Katie has passed, the droid continues to be a symbol of hope in dark times for many Star Wars fans appearing at charity events often.  R2-KT and a similar model called QT-KT have made appearances in many Star Wars properties including the Clone Wars animated series and this cameo in LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles:

Now it seems that R2-KT will most likely appear in the newest live action Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens.

Sesame Workshop is taking a step toward wiping away the stigma associated with autism.

A new character, Julia, has been introduced as a part of Sesame Street and Autism: See Amazing in All Children. Julia will live digitally on an app that helps parents and children with autism communicate through story cards.

The movement to bring Julia to life has taken three years, and includes other pieces to the campaign like "The Amazing Song."

"Our goal is to bring forth what all children share in common, not their differences. Children with autism share in the joy of playing and loving and being friends and being part of a group," Dr. Jeanette Betancourt, the senior vice president of community and family engagement at Sesame Workshop, told People magazine.

After a Redditor uploaded this photo of a very menacing little girl holding an owl, things got out of hand—as they should have.
