In 2013, Tracy Spraggins desperately needed a kidney transplant. She has been battling Lupus since she was six and it finally destroyed her kidney function. Knowing that time was running out, her husband PJ Spraggins was tested to find out if he was a match to donate a kidney to her.

It was rare and lucky that PJ was a perfect match to give Tracy a kidney but doctors told him his blood pressure was too high. He had to diet and exercise for a year until he lost 70lbs and was cleared for the operation.

After the transplant the hospital sent them a kind Easter gift.

The Spraggins' also posted this very sweet video of their first stroll after the transplant.

Noela Rukundo lived happily in Australia with her husband Balenga Kalala until she left to visit the country of Burundi where she grew up for her stepmother's funeral.

In Burundi, she stepped out for some air after finishing a phone call with her loving husband to meet a man with a gun pointed at her.  Under the threat of death, she did what he told her to do and was taken to a secluded place where her kidnappers met with other gang members. Fortunately for her, the hitmen her husband sent to kill her were principled.

They told her they don't kill women and children so after some theatrics over the phone, during which she heard her own husband command them to "Kill her" and the hitmen demanded more money and told him that she was dead.

With evidence from her would-be killers she headed home to crash her own funeral. She showed up right as mourning friends and family were leaving her husband's home.

What kind of thing would you say to the person you love who tried to have you murdered?  Rukundo told the BBC she just said, "Surprise! I'm still alive!"

Russell Wilson wanted to shout his love from the Twitter tops with (more than one) #WomanCrushWednesday posts about Ciara. He searched desperately for the words to describe her beauty and settled on a mash-up of corny, poetic words from the first creative writing website he found.

Love really is timeless.

Via Discovery: The skeletal remains of two lovebirds were uncovered, after being locked in a romantic embrace for the past 700 years.

Archeologists found the happy couple holding hands in an earthen grave during an excavation of a "lost" chapel in Leicestershire, England, researchers reported Thursday (Sept. 18).

"We have seen similar skeletons before from Leicester where a couple has been buried together in a single grave," Vicki Score, University of Leicester Archaeological Services (ULAS) project manager, said in a statement.

Ingeborg McIntosh knew she was suffering from polycystic kidney disease, what she didn't know is that her adopted son, Jordan, had already confirmed he was a match to be a donor.
The McIntosh's had many foster children over the years, but when Jordan came along Ingeborg knew instantly she wanted to adopt. And, seeing how the two have so wonderfully taken care of one another, I don't believe she could have made a better decision.

Twenty cancer patients were invited to receive full makeovers that included hair and makeup. They were asked to keep their eyes shut through the transformation, and sit in front of a one way mirror. A photographer prepped on the other side of that mirror when they open their eyes, and what he captures is an amazing reaction that, if only for a brief moment, takes them out of the pain and suffering that cancer brings to their lives.
