Earlier in the week,Stacy Dash, Fox News contributor and former best friend to Cher Horowitz, said award shows like the BET Awards and Image Awards shouldn't exist. Amid ongoing Oscars controversy, Gabrielle Union was asked for her opinion on Stacy Dash's comments about the BET Awards earlier in the week. Union responded with "Who is Stacy Dash?"
Here's the clip of Stacy Dash in question:
Who has time to watch all the movies nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars just to keep up with pop culture? For the record, that's 17 hours and 29 minutes that could be spent aimlessly surfing the internet. If you want to stay relevant with your cinephile friends that badly, these honest posters are all you need.
It’s encouraging to know that years of hard work as an actor or filmmaker could one day get you a free orange Gatorade.
New Media Rockstars decided to see how people would react to someone carrying a (fake) Oscar around the streets of L.A.
It seemed to work out pretty well for the guy. He ended up getting free movie tickets, food, drinks and was pretty much allowed to go and do whatever he wanted.
“You got an Oscar, thats your ID,” said a bouncer when he tried to get into an exclusive party.
Watch and cringe as everyone tries to take pictures with him and his award despite not knowing who he is or what he “won” it for.
Some people even claim they saw his speech.
"...Keep it together, Leo. Breathe. Breathe deeply. You're only 39. Acting is a lifelong gig. If I don't win an actual Oscar, maybe they'll give me a Lifetime Achievement Award. GAAAH, that's not helping!"
