Most people don't have time to watch every single Oscar nominated movie, even if you just stick to the nominees for best picture. However, EVERYONE has time for puppies. That's why you'll be glad you watched this video where puppies have replaced the stars in every nominee for best picture.

The video description introduces it just like a segment at the Oscars.

It takes a lot of bricks to build the best movies of the year... Here are the Oscars 2016 Best Picture Nominees in Lego: The Big Short, Bridge of Spies, Brooklyn, Mad Max: Fury Road, The Martian, The Revenant, Room, Spotlight.

Why hasn't this become a real Academy Award category yet?

The official Walking Dead Twitter account started by creating The Walking Dead versions of Oscar nominated films. Then other people caught on and it spiraled out of control like a mysterious pathogen that causes people to become reanimated corpses when they die.

The Tumblr blog Don't Call Me Oscar is run by photographer Maggie Storino. These adorable recreations of the Best Picture nominees are not just cute, they can tell the future. Storino told Mashable, "A little known fact about 'Don't Call Me Oscar' is that it's a good predictor of the Oscar winner; since we've been on Tumblr, the photo with the most notes has won Best Picture 3 out of 4 years."

In Leo's Red Carpet Rampage you are asked to put Leonardo DiCaprio's fate in your hands to finally win that Oscar. Gameplay is pretty easy to understand, but it's harder than it looks.

You'll have to dodge photographers, outrun Eddie Redmayne (and other nominees) and complete a series of nearly impossible minigames such as "Find the Black Nominee", "Write Your Acceptance Speech" and "Act Harder".

At times you'll even have to dodge Lady Gaga.

Okay, to be honest, the game isn't very hard, but it's one heck of a ride.

Film blogger David Adamek got inspired by this Tweet and decided to make an entire series of new posters for Oscar nominated films featuring scenes from Winnie the Pooh. Suddenly those childhood memories seem much more dramatic.
