As the wave of nostalgia continues to plague our culture, yet another beloved property is getting the old reboot: Jim Henson's Muppet Babies. This ain't your father's Muppet Babies, though. Muppet Babies will feature a new, 100% computer-generated look for Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzy, and the rest. No word yet as to whether or not Nanny and her infamous green and white stripped stockings will be 100% computer generated.

Oh, also, the characters look absolutely terrifying.

Muppet Babies premieres on Disney Junior in 2018, but until then, why don't you kickback and get the theme song stuck in your head?

Xena and her "companion" Gabrielle spent a lot of time adventuring together on the 'Xena: Warrior Princess' TV show. There were plenty of hints at a relationship but in the 90's, it was all about subtext. Now all that subtext is coming out into the open.  The writer for an upcoming Xena reboot, Javier Grillo-Marxuach, confirmed that the show will fully explore their relationship:

Part of that question refers to the fact that Grillo-Marxuach was formerly a writer for 'The 100', a TV show which just killed off a popular gay character, leaving fans devastated. He swears he had nothing to do with that move, being on paternity leave and then leaving the show (presumably to work on a Xena reboot?).

In other good news about the upcoming series, Grillo-Marxuach is totally up for bringing back Lucy Lawless (at least as a cameo):

Elizabeth Banks just made a promise to bring Rita Repulsa, the most memorable Power Rangers villain, back from the dead.

Mystery surrounds the nature of the new Power Rangers reboot but it probably won't be very similar to the well recieved "gritty" NSFW short unauthorized reboot everyone was talking about last year.

Do you want reboots? Because this is how you get reboots?

The enormous recycling center that is Hollywood is at it again as it eyes a move towards updating the 1962 film King Kong vs. Godzilla for today's discernible audiences.

Based probably off the critical and financial success of last year's Godzilla reboot, movie executives are probably looking to put that boot on a new foot and have a clash of the titans that's not Clash of the Titans.

Deadline Hollywood got the exclusive:

In a movie move that portends a clash of giant monsters, Legendary Pictures' Thomas Tull is moving his untitled Skull Island King Kong film to Warner Bros. This is being done to unite the property with Legendary's other giant franchise, Godzilla. In what would be a pretty epic pairing, the Godzilla sequel that is in the works will be followed by a movie that pits the giant ape versus the giant fire breathing reptile. I'm told this is happening very quickly with moves going all the way to Japan, where Godzilla rights holder Toho is based.

The last one gave us some great gifs, so maybe we should hope for more of those at least.

As if the most recent news of a Married... With Children and a Xena: Warrior Princess reboot weren't enough, the unstoppable resurrection of the 1990s continues with Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Apparently, even Will Smith is on board for this monument to aged nostalgia.

TV Line says they have the exclusive story.

According to multiple sources, Smith's production shingle, Overbrook Entertainment, is in the very early stages of developing a present-day family comedy that puts a new spin on the fish-out-of-water tale while maintaining the spirit of Fresh Prince. (An official longline is still being hammered out.) I'm told a pitch is being finalized now and Overbrook will begin shopping it around in the coming weeks. Smith would serve as an EP alongside his Overbrook producing partners James Lassiter, Caleeb Pinkett and Jada Pinkett-Smith.

Will Smith has hit a bit of a rough patch in his career as of late. Besides Men in Black III, he hasn't had a movie critics enjoyed in at least eight years.

One things for sure, between this, Coach, Full House, Twin Peaks and next January's The X Files, the 1990s are sticking around.

David Faustino's really trying to make a Married with Children Reboot happen.

David Faustino, or the only one of the Married...With Children cast who has not continued to have a publicly successful career, has begun teasing return of the 1990s show.

During the Vacation premiere, Faustino told E Online:

"Sony has it. They're excited about it. They're working out some legal issues that we hope they work out.

The whole cast, including Christina, is down to do little bits in it. The idea would be a pilot for a spinoff. That's all I can say right now. It involves me and few other people."

Chrisina Applegate, who played the bombshell daughter Kelly said to E Online, "All of us have said we would all be there for [Faustino]."

Jeeez, it all just sounds pandering at this point. It's like Faustino is trying to make 'fetch' happen.

But if it does happen, it would primarily be because our culture continues on its exhaustive crusade to resurrect every particle of what was popular in the 1990s and see if we will still laugh when we try to make the exhumed corpse dance for us.

We've got X Files coming back in January, the Full House reboot and Xena Warrior Princess.

Not to mention the inexplicable return of Coach.

Xena the Warrior Princess is coming back, apparently.

And the carousel of 1990s nostalgia continues making everyone dizzy.

Flavorwire, along with many other outlets, is reporting the return of Xena: Warrior Princess

From 1995-2001, the show about an eponymous warrior princess out to redeem her past sins charmed many with it's campy sensibilities and striking lead actress, Lucy Lawless. Well, NBC wants to see if the magic is still there.

Before you feel all like:

You should know that the reboot is in it's infancy.

It's so early in the project's development, in fact, that the "modern reboot" is still searching for a writer. Thus, all info about the series — which was originally created by Tapert and John Schulian — is written in totally vague terms, as in the aforementioned THR news piece: the fact that "producers are said to be looking for a sophisticated and smart superhero for a new generation" doesn't give provide much in the way of concrete details, given that no one's expecting them to be looking for a dumb superhero for a bygone generation.

This show would join the large roster of 1990s television shows that are suddenly hurdling back at us, from Full House to next January's X Files miniseries.

But just think, we could here this fearsome battle cry again before too much longer.
