A wildfire broke out in Waroona, in south western Australia, leaving behind damaged property and lives.   The adorable photo has attracted a lot of attention.  The veterinary clinic that is taking care of him mentioned that the burns on his tail aren't affecting his balance so they are hopeful. They also released additional information after a massive response.

I have had a lot of messages about this little man - yes he is a boy. Yes he has some bad burns but has taken this long to catch. We will definitely keep you updated on his progress! Nurse Frosina x

This little guy got some terrible burns but he wasn't the only one.

Pets, farm animals and wild animals alike have been affected by this tragedy.

According to their Facebook page, all animals at this clinic affected by the fires are being treated for free.

Lynea Lattanzio is by far the cat ladiest of cat ladies. She started rescuing and rehoming cats and just couldn't stop. Now she shares her home with around 800 adult cats and 300 kittens according to the video description. This number is ever changing of course, because in addition to caring for so, so many cats who roam free on her six-acre property, she rescues cats and rehomes the ones who are fit for adoption.

What started out as a hobby she paid for out of pocket has become a non-profit, no-kill sanctuary called Cat House on the Kings which is run on donations and adoption fees.

All Athena Bryson wanted for Christmas was a new pet, but not just any animal would do. She decided she wanted to save a turkey from becoming Christmas dinner.

Now Valerie the turkey spends all her time as a house pet in this Northern Ireland home. She seems very well behaved, maybe she's knows just how lucky she is. Athena's mom managed to find a farmer who was willing to spare a turkey for a pet just one day before she was scheduled for slaughter.

Now Valerie will live comfortably with the Bryson family for the rest of her life.

A piece of Americana fast food history will be safe thanks to the good people at Taco Bell.

The first ever Taco Bell restaurant will be picked up, loaded on to a truck and driven 45 miles to a new home (all while being livestreamed.)

And it all happens TODAY!

The Downey, CA building served as a Taco Bell from 1962 to 1986 until other taco shops took up residence. Developers are eyeing the property, so Taco Bell corporate stepped in to rescue the building.

Taco Bell hasn't decided what to do with "Numero Uno," but the company is taking suggestions from fans while the old shop rests at Taco Bell headquarters for safe keeping.

If you live in Southern California, you can follow the building's journey along its many stops. Or check out the live feed here.

Illustrator and designer Renee Lusano captured this harrowing video from a drone as her group was nearly washed away in a flash flood in Maui.

About 2 miles into a hike into the forrest called "Commando," it started to rain. But the group continued on their trek to a jungle waterfall. The group reached the waterfall and started to swim.

Then THIS happened.

"Then suddenly without warning there was an enormous rush of water coming over the waterfall, it had to have been instantly 50 times as much water rushing over, and the water was flowing fast."

Lusano was able to capture the entire scene via drone while scrambling to find the rest of her group, some of which had been swept into the waterfall by the currents.

Eventually the group was able to find a patch of dry land to call 911 and get airlifted out of the area.

It began as any other day for Michael Connor, until he found a bat stuck in his toilet bowl.

Any other person would have turned, ran and hired someone to burn the house down.

But Connor rolled up his sleeves and rescued the little guy.
