Happiest update #2 for the happiest Wookie in the world. The "Happy Chewbacca" lady got to laugh it up with James Corden and J.J. Abrams on The Late Show. At this rate, maybe she'll get a cameo in Episode 8?

You may remember the lady who transformed into the happiest Wookie you've ever seen with a roaring Chewbacca mask. Well, here's the happiest update ever: Kohl's (where she original bought her mask) brought her two more masks and a whole box of Star Wars stuff. Now her kids have their own Star Wars toys. She also got $2,500 in gift cards so that she can buy non-Star Wars stuff.

Sphero is a company that creates cool toys that are, not surprisingly, spherical. One of those toys is a tiny BB-8 droid that you can control with your phone app. Now it's got an update that will allow it to "watch" the new Star Wars movie with you and react to it while you're watching.

It can also be controlled by waving your arms around if you're wearing a "force band".

As you can see in the video, technology for motion capture and CGI is so advanced now that Nyong'o's CGI character can actually come to life as she's acting on the set.

Her Instagram note reads:

Thank you so much for that brilliant invite to your formal.Unfortunately I'm locked in an intense staring competition with Luke Skywalker, somewhere in the middle of the galaxy, so won't be able to make it! Let me know how it goes!

And just to show you what she's missing out on, here's the video invitation:

I guess he'll just have to carry on "making lots of friends and gaining lots of knowledge" without her.
